Aeon a dit : I can answer your mind-diverting questions. Some pros are rude because they want themselves to have the first but surprisingly didn't. Some of these rude people whisper to the player who achieved the first and call them nicknames like: noob. If they /silence their whisper, post their message on plubic chat and make them feel ashamed. They most likely won't do it again to you. For the part where you said to judge on how they play, I think that's irrelevant. If they are pro, then they would most likely "will have" / "has" pro streaks and stats. Hints: Once a pro comes to a room, many other pros will come too (for some reason) and the room would most likely become a warfare between who would get first. Many pro players would troll if they didn't get first. If you are the shaman, let them troll and then ice them. Show those "rude pros" no mercy. Izupen a dit : The fact that you say they think they are pro wjing, I'm pretty sure any person would know the difference between bouncing and wj, right? I'm not saying you are lying in your post but I never seen "pros" (like me) saying "they are ultimately wj" by bouncing on a trampoline. If I'm not wrong, are you referring to pros climbing a trampoline wall? Dernière modification le 1422211320000 |

Though i can say, my experience with such events as pros has been mixed, some being delightful and allowing the mice of lesser level and rank to achieve many things, to where there are pros obsessed with streak. And when that streak is broke, it creates must tension and pointless spamming of obscenities to the unfortunate victim. I can't say that pros are all kind, but, i must give them that watching supposed pros square off in flamer war against another pro, is among the best entertainment, popcorn worthy even, as long as the lesser mice aren't victimized. |

Yes, some pro's are EXTREAMLY RUDE. for example, there is people who say "LOL noobs, ima pro :D" they are problemly 8 year olds. How can I tell? well if one time you didn't get first you would say "omg you cheater u used hack!!!" some are quiet yes, but some, are little kids who get mad over a little game. dlamees a dit : No, skills matters, i call a pro someone that has amazing skills in every aspect of the game. It's true some well known players (usually if you have 10000+ firsts you start being considered a pro somehow) sometimes start considering themselves more important than the other players because they've become like VIPs in game, but most of them are kinda nice or just not talkative. As for myself (i'm fairly good at the game) since i'm getting close to the "pro amount of firsts" people is starting to notice me and I usually receive a good amount of whispers in game by people i don't know, most of times it's people asking for friendship or other random stuff. It's honestly impossible and a pain in the ass to both play and answer all the whispers. I can just imagine all thewhispers that the top players receive everytime they log in. Players are not rude if they do not answer all the whispers in game (if so the moderators should be considered the rudest players ever but they're not). This is a game, first of all. And people keeps forgetting this. Dernière modification le 1422282660000 |

ifrancesco a dit : True fact but as you can see, we are misjudging on the fact that some pros are using the advantage of /w, /silence, and plubic (room) chat to harass new developing players. At this point, it is starting to be a problem because of how easy virtual communication can be used without revealing yourself. Let me point out a few points of this rudeness. First of all, some pros believe they have the right to not tolerate new players and to not help them out (which is wrong). We as humans reduplicate other peoples' acts to not feel left out. Newbies would probably think the game is to harass others and they would take in the role of bullying others too. This can form mass production of intolerating players. Second of all, some of these rude players tend to think thay since a newbie can't do certain task, they can call them "noob". ~The word "noob" can be served in language as in a nice or mean advantage. [If you are a harassing pro reading this and you want to start afresh like a nice person, do someyhing like this to make newbies feel welcomed: When they call you "pro", just tell them "Thank you" to show your appreciation or just say something like: "Nah, I'm still just a noob but thc anyways." Want a newbie to have confidence in completing a map? Just clap for them or say something positive that might engage them believe they will succeed (they most likely will) ] This is for the new gamers of Transformice: Let's not bored out the topic a bit too much but like what other many players said, just find a way that might allow you meet the same rude person. By the time you meet them again, you are probably already a high-experience player! Let's take on the fact we all here were once newbies when we "first" started playing Transformice. Feel free to point out some flaws or things you disagree with. Dernière modification le 1422316260000 |

No no, I agree with almost everything, but i find this hate towards "pro" a bit too much, i'm friend with a lot of really good players and many of them helped me out with refining my skills, trained with me giving me suggestions about shamaning or how to perform better in racing maps and so on. As said i try when i'm in a good mood to answer all whispers kindly, but sometimes i'm too focused in the game, maybe because i found someone who is more skilled than me and i try my best to play better, or i'm in bootcamp doing some hard map, or i'm pissed off about something IRL and i don't care about the people around me. In these cases I hardly take a look at the chat so i don't honestly feel rude for not answering a gj or a whisper. I know there are rude players, but i won't say rude "pro", i've been room kicked by a group of newbies because i was making too many firsts (and i wonn't say i was farming, since in my home server there's hardly one playable rooom so :P ), how comes those players are not considered rude but i am if i don't answer every single whisper? :) In addition to that, i've really a small pool of friends (i think i have only 30 friends in my list), people I really like talking to, and being covered in insults just because i don't want to add someone in my friendlist is a bummer. frozacky a dit : ifrancesco a dit : You are just proving my point. '_' The solution to this rudeness is still a hard core situation. I know this part should go to the Suggestion section but I think it should go with the post: Let's convince the TFM staff members (especially Tig :') ) to make a pre-existence bot that can find offending words and mute the person immediately if the person is reported. [Mods won't have to worry about insults constantly if the TFM staff members approved] Transformice would probably become a peaceful game once more. :') Dernière modification le 1422369240000 |
