In terms of making age less of a prevalent issue, I dont see why it wouldnt be possible to have a chat filter, optional or not, filtering out common swear words making the game more friendly to young users - filters are pretty easy code to make and widely used and the work should not be very dev intensive or have many teething problems.

Similarly for the case described in the OP where there were innappropriate links, links could be censored optionally, although they can be useful for gyazo screenshots etc linls often cause more trouble in games than they are worth - again detecting an censoring links would not be too difficult for devs, especially in this game where the devs seem to be fairly active, making adjustments to the game

I think tinyurl links are disabled in cafe, a new step I suppose?

The thing is there are other ways than tinyurl to shorten links and hide them, for example this page could be:

I just used a different shortener, there are many more than the ones I used - if those arent also disabled it doesnt make sense to just disable one,


On the other hand if all links are disabled there that is a good step forward imo, and this kind of censorship could be brought in as a toggleable option into the main game

I don't really have a problem with 10 year olds on this game. If they signed up, they should've read the T's and C's.

Since this is the internet, 10 year olds are most likely going to lie about their age and skip reading the intro message.

i love how that last sentence implies you absolutely have to be 13+ to be on the game (which is false btw, it is only the recommended age)
and if i had to be honest, most people i see on this game are under 13
but yea, the only reason its 13+ is bc youre allowed to swear

I saw a girl and she said she was 9 yrs old, she could deal with her own problems and she just moved to another room when a person started cussing,., honestly, I think we should change it to 11+ since most ppl r 13 and below. Ppl should be able to deal with their own problems and know that if they don't like what is going on they should move away. If they don't like what they're seeing, they can move to another room or IGNORE THE PLAYER. So.. ,., i go /no support for this topic since kids can deal with it. (Ppl just move to another room, it's as simple as that. If they choose to stay and listen then that's they choice!)
