i honestly don't really care about what type of music it is as long as it's not heavy screamo. not only can't i understand what they're saying, it also really hurts my ears.

My taste could be defined by what I do not listen to/find appealing, like most hiphop, pop (unless it's good) or overeccentric eurobeat (j/k-pop).

I find myself leaning more towards traditional trance, electro-industrial, futurepop, power metal, gothic rock.
Also love myself some new retro wave and clasical music.

i listen to chill trap / dark / ??? not sure what to call it but i got like 400+ songs like that on a playlist

i used to be severely obsessed with electronic music but i don't listen to it nearly as much anymore

Generally calm but rythmy (who knows that exists) songs.

I think all genres are fine, but my favourites are trip-hop (that has nothing to do with hip-hop), acid jazz, world music and generally pop, commercial music. Also SOME folks like estonian and slovak folk, and vaporwave.
But I still like any genre if the song id nice

My favorite artists are
Sia (generally mixed with pop music, but in the past triphop, acid jazz and calm genres)
Deep Forest (world music)
Blank Banshee (vaporwave)
Kerli (pop-rock mixed sometimes with estonian folk)
Katarzia (slovak folk)
