Glad this got sorted out! ' v ' )

---

Just a warning for anyone else who downloads a software off software-hosting sites; their downloads usually have several offers, which will install a bunch of malware and stuff. ((seriously, i haven't come across a single offer which doesn't do harm to your PC)).
It's important to not get mixed up between the software you want, and the software you don't want. You should be able to skip the offers almost all the time (if you can't, I'd be a bit skeptical about installing whatever you downloaded).

Also, don't download an offer, even if you've heard of the software before! (e.g. VLC Music Player, 7Zip, etc.) Because that's not the actual software - if you want to download VLC or 7Zip, do it from their official website.

SPOTTING AN OFFER
- Look carefully at the screen.
- Don't be impatient and click "OK" before looking!
- If you see a name or an icon that ISN'T the software you want to install, DON'T click "Ok", "Next, "Accept", "Install" etc.

- If in doubt, DON'T INSTALL IT!! ((post a screenshot of the offer page in this thread or something))

SKIPPING AN OFFER
- Look carefully at the screen.
- If you're downloading off a more trusted website, e.g. CNET, it will usually be obvious how to skip an offer. Look for a "Skip", or "Decline" option. (This is usually in the bottom left)
- If you're downloading off a less trusted website, it won't be as clear.
- Terms and Conditions page: check that the terms and conditions page is FOR the software you want to install. If it isn't, decline it.
- Can't see an option to skip or decline: click "Cancel" or "Back" at the bottom of the pop-up. (don't click "X" in top-right corner!)
- Can't see an option to skip AND no back button: if the page gives you installation options, select "Custom installation" and uncheck the box "Install [ offer name ]".

- If none of the above work, I would suggest you DEFINITELY DON'T INSTALL IT. ((but seriously, it's really rare that that happens))

trusted sites like CNET will be nice and tell you whether you're on an offer page, but keep in mind that not all sites do that.

I always press skip, or I uncheck the "Install blahblahblah" and click ok, and it doesn't download, so maybe my internet got hacked :B

What is a spammer?
and does it matter when I blocked them?
like I don't know what time they add me because I was afk for like 10 minute
but as soon as I got back I saw this and blocked.

somehow they get hold of people's skype names and spam them with friend requests (usually it's because they're in the same group convo as you)

it doesn't really matter if you blocked them, but when you said that, i assumed that you hadn't accepted them as a contact or clicked on the link

also they haven't added you, since you have to accept their request for both of you to be added to each other's contacts.

yes
my shock wave plug in crashed out of no where
and everything started to be really slow.
i think it's because i was running a virus scan?
and my av sometimes freezes and the scan goes away and comes back
is that normal

with chrome thats pretty common yeah. its annoying but the only thing you can do is check and see if you dont have 2 flash programs running, or to check and see if you have the lastest chrome.

My dad has been having a shitton of Flash problems. I'm guessing there's an issue with this current version.

if you're having issues with chrome / adobe you might want to reinstall either or both of them.

or you can try disabling your adobe plugins at chrome://plugins

I used to get that ugh

Eventually I'd force Java updates myself, instead of accepting the update pop ups, and it went away. But I don't know anything that would help for sure.
