I would presume, despite the unsettling nature, theirs nothing past that, hit the ground and that's it kinda deal. Just forever stuck on the last mortal thought, only to be comforted by a figment which we so desperately desire in our untimely demise. Though ya never know, just have to wait and find out... |

I would think that nothing happens. You're dead. You lived your life that you were given to cherish until you die. I don't really uh believe in heaven or hell, so i believe that you WOULD* go to neither. Dernière modification le 1413087180000 |

I'm a Christian so... Your spirit lives forever so you won't die People who don't accept jesus in their hearts will go to hell and suffer there If you accept him you will be able to live the good life with him in heaven forever and you can't have another body I believe a young boy left his body during surgery to visit god in heaven and told his parents that Some boy started to worry he will be in heaven forever and started crying lmao I think it is okay to say "hell" but not "what the hell" or something like that because my teacher said "hell" before because she was a christian and people thought she cussed I don't get why people hate Israel but we like them and we want God to help them in war Dernière modification le 1413417480000 |

woah, debate threads aren't being deleted? aww yea I'm not a believer in any Earthy religion but I think it's likely we probably were created by something or maybe a group of things. The 'Design and Purpose' argument makes a lot of sense to me, consider this: You see a watch on the ground and decide to pick it up. The watch is transparent and you can see all its complex workings. Most likely you would think to yourself that someone had dropped the watch and that it was crafted by someone. You wouldn't assume it magic'd itself out of nothing. Therefore, is it not logical to assume the universe was also created by someone? I believe it is more likely that a higher being or beings crafted the laws of physics and mathematical principals that are present on Earth and on other planets rather than the planets simply making these and themselves out of chance. I also think the 'cause of the cause' in St. Thomas Aquinas' argument make sense and that we need to have some kind of divine being or beings to be able to exist to have created us, rather than just an endless timeline of events (i.e. bing bang created the universe but what caused that to happen and then what made those exist, etc.) Edit: Oh, yeah, but about the thread question: I'm not sure. The existence of a higher being(s), which I do believe is very likely, doesn't necessarily mean we will live on after death. I personally think that our body is not our whole being and that we do have some sort of soul, so we probably would live on in some shape or form, perhaps in another dimension. Evidence for this? None, really. That's just my opinion, the above has a logical argument to it. Satash a dit : This is a public debating thread, if someone doesn't want to receive any criticism or comment about their beliefs, they shouldn't post about it. I think it's perfectly reasonable for another to question whether one's belief really matches up to religion's. I'm not sure about all branches of Christianity but I know, for Catholicism, it is generally considered a sin to assume who will and will not go to heaven - even based on supposed suggestions in the Bible (accepting Jesus for e.g.). God is the one who decides in the end and He alone judges; though it okay to give advice based on His teachings, it is not to explicitly say "if you do not do this you will go to hell".
