and it's one of the only reasons I don't just leave the game due to boredom

Well, it's typically the same people who use it daily. So I guess a majority of the players would not be effected if it were removed. There are a lot of things that go without being reported and it's usually filled with whining kids and like Joeballbags said, there's a lot of sexual and very vulgar comments. I don't think role plays belong there, aren't there sites for that? I wouldn't be heartbroken if it was removed but I don't see that happening. Of course this is just my experience in the E2 Cafe but I think it's probably the most active of all servers that use it.

As long as the roleplay isn't breaking rules, what harm are they?

I'm not supposed to go to roleplay sites and also all the good ones are either:
1: pay
or
2: have an age requirment I can't meet right now
and
3: has an email validation thing that almost never come ever
And also I've seen moderators actually say that rps are allowed there

If it weren't for the Café I'd be nothing like I am right now (: I wouldn't totally care if the Café was removed though.

As brutal and vile as the cafe can be, it shouldn't be taken down. Some people log on solely to chat with others. I do agree that there should be more mods to survey it, though.

there are still people who want to get rid of the cafe, this isn't how you think it could be
it's just a thread to attract people's opinions, and just because you disagree with it doesn't mean it'll get removed

As I am a friends with people who use it and I never actually go there myself, I get tons of whispers with quotes from it... and I don't enjoy that. That place has way too much useless drama and inappropriate stuff.

While that is true, but it's true as well that it's quite useful for smaller communities as a more or less small in-game forum, that can be easily accessed by anyone. Easy to post some useful info, and you can always -1 the inappropriate stuff. The only thing I'd like to happen is that the number of down votes required to delete a topic would be a hard count of - 10 points. It would essentially help smaller communities to deal with such posts without needing to call for moderators to delete those topics.

the only thing i hate about the cafe ( i go onto the e2 cafe just about everyday ) is that when people dont like a certain thing ( for example, lesbians ) they will dislike ANY post about them, this goes for fandoms, taste in music, etcetc.

the cafe will demolish you if you post about something they dont like, and im like " okay but can you calm i wanted to let everyone know about __ and im busy so i cant whisper the people who like ___ one by one "

and still

this also goes for when someone hates on something that another person hates, they will like that comment.

the dislike thing should give reasons why you are disliking it, honestly, like, lets say someone posted a screamer and you disliked the comment, a window would pop up giving lists of why you disliked the comment, and there could be an " other " option and a bar you can fill out.

other than that, the cafe isnt too bad.
