Nickname update

Waowww thank Atelier801 good update!

creaturenerd a dit :

Possibly the most useless update yet.

My face was the same when I saw this.

I can definitely see the reasoning behind wanting to know a friend or user's previous name, but in a way I feel like that defeats the purpose of a name change system just a tad bit. I think many people would like to change their usernames so that they are no longer associated with their previous one, and listing the previous username on the profile would defeat that purpose. Basically, if I'm going to pay money to have a name change, would it really be 100% worth it if the old name is still listed on my profile? Can that truly be considered a name change? However, I do understand this concern - maybe it could be listed on the lower portion (so that you would have to scroll to see it) of the profile. Maybe only people on your friendlist can have access to your old name, or maybe something even more subtle...

But how gonna we know who is the 'new' user cus on the 'old' user we can't see the new name cuz no one gonna use the profile again.

this is a good update, really. BUT it defeats the purpose of being creative. with numbers we can just be like cat24854 and not be very creative. where without numbers, we have to THINK creative. :/ im not saying its bad, its just.... not creative and a bit unnecessary.

Lets see how many thanks we get if the name change costs money

Name changes will probably cost fraises... but if they've been listening to our previous "payment" opinions, then they might also add a cheese name change option. I think that's very unlikely though.

#389

Awsome, I can't wait for the name change to happen. =D

#390

You will be able to change the name?

#391

Thanks.

Personally if the name change is gonna happen, they need to be able to recognize them. Like somewhere on their profile it will say something like this.

*No I am not changing my username. This is just an example*
Somewhere on the profile, we can read their past usernames. So old friends can recognize them instead of guessing who is who.
