A 502 Code is more related to issues with servers you're trying to access, it means the server may be down or under maintenance which makes sense since you said it only happens around 9 AM, which is about the time most sysadmins schedule server maintenance or daily backups. there's not much you can do about, just give it a wait

In general, coded responses have meaning, usually, when its 200, it mean everything is okaym the 400 means there is an issue with a request you made (hence the infamous 404 error when you try to access a non existing page) and as you have seen, the 502

If you're referring to the 502 which happens on the forums, it occurs at a set time every day when the forums resets/clears its cache. It's normal and it usually should go away within a couple of minutes.

Get the switch! There are a lot of awesome new games like Splatoon 2, Mario Odyssey, Zelda, and the new Smash Bros game that's coming out sometime later this year.
