I'm okay with the guests like *squeak because they're so damn cute!!!!!!!!!!

I've never understood "stealing firsts". The guest is just winning the race. Why does it matter whether their main account has a number that ticks up for their first, or the guest account gets it and it disappears. Either way you don't get the first.

Edit: guests are useful for loads of things and a nice way for people to try the game before signing up

Log in bug? Be a guest.
Also the only prob for guests are names. Name checker please.
Plus what if they only want to check it?
They have to make an acc? effort much. What if they dont like it? Just abandon it? Poor acc CFM updates them you know. What for no reason?
Last one is If they're rude then report. If they steal first So? Whats the matter if they got it? Is it their fault you didnt get first? I know the first will not be counted but thats the way it is.

And, actually, i don't find any problems with guests. It is actually good to have guests in-game.

Although I do agree with gross guest names, I don't think they should be banned. I mean, lots of games have a guest option. Maybe they're a younger child, and their parents want to check out the game before committing their child to it. While I do think some people abuse this feature, I think others might truly need use for it, therefore I don't think it should be banned. If it is, it won't be a big deal in reality, but I just don't think EVERY guest is bad.

I don't see a problem with guests. They are extremely restricted as is in shops, chat, and admin commands. I like it that way. The only thing I would like to see is a time limit for ~3-6 hours straight. Then the guest will be immediately logged out.

Guesties don't do nothing. Leave them be!

Guest are a place to try out the game first, see the commands and stuff. The only thing is that their abusing the ability to try it out, using Sexual, inappropriate, names. It's just wrong the way they do it. And another thing is that they try and hack on them; nor cheat. That's the only things that are bad. Other then that, I really think they are a "Mouse in training"!

If I was new to a game, I would certainly use the guest way of playing, to check it out and see if I like it or not.
When it comes to them taking firsts, it's not really taking in my opinion :P They deserve it as much as actual registered accounts, if you want the first so bad, try harder. :3
Though people use guest accounts to troll, and of course trolling is part of the game!
Guest names should be restricted definitely.. Maybe take out the way guests can have any word e.g. Souris_Poop, as I really see no need for that.

I personally love guests. They're all so adorable, either trying out the game or just trying to have fun without unnecessary whispers. I like to throw confetti at any guest (troller or not) and I don't stop until they do the same and then we just stand in the corner throwing confetti at each other. :333 I am always happy to see a guest who is obviously a new player, I use the public chat to try and help as much as possible and encourage them to keep going. It's good to let people try out the game before forcing them to register.

As for this "stealing" issue, the first was never really yours if there was someone quicker in the room. If they had used a normal account, it would not have been yours either. If an inappropriate name appears, it can be easily reported.

If there weren't guests, I wouldn't be playing. The first time I played Transformice, I was a guest. Yes, I was confused by everything. I was weirded out by the fact that every mouse was wearing clothes! But I took away that picture, and I found out lots of stuff about Transformice while being a guest. Sometimes, I like to just be a guest, and when you could be first, you sit there by the hole, waiting for someone to take the first, and just listen to them being happy, and thanking you. It's one of the only times someone thanks me, and is nice to me. They don't know what my real account is.

On the other hand, there are mean, and rude guests. Trolls are everywhere, you can't change that fact by taking away guests. Sometimes, trolling is fun, and I'm sure lots of people do troll to get a smile out of something. You have to admit, it is quite funny when someone trolls.

I like being a guest, and the fact that I can't speak to someone, changes my emotions. Mostly because whenever I speak to someone, I end up in a fight. No one can really speak their minds these today, nor keep their thoughts to themselves. Not many people can see what I see in guests, there are many people who hate them, though not all are bad.

I want guests to stay. I'd be blown away in sadness if they took them away.

When i started,i played as a quest. I didnt know how to make an account becouse i was stupid ._.

Guests are so stupid, we don't even need them on. All they do is troll. I hope Transformice removes them.

To be honest, most of the times, people go on guests to try out the game first. Sure, they can make an account, but won't you get a demo of the game if you could before you buy the full game? Being a guest is like trying a demo, you get to play, learn, and have fun. Certain features are restricted, as in a demo, which is why I made the comparison. Not all guests troll, some are actually pretty nice and friendly. People with normal accounts also troll, should they be removed too? No, they shouldn't. The truth is, anyone will make you unhappy in a game, whether it be a guest or a normal account, but there's also the good side of the game (which includes guests and normal accounts).

But all they do is take firsts that they don't need.

Don't normal users do, too? Yes, I am aware that guests do not have any way of earning titles from firsts, or having stats in-game, but why is it so bothersome? If a normal user gets first, you would probably rage or say nothing. Would you end up getting the first at the end of the day? No. It is the same with guests. Not all of them get first, there are some who actually give, but hell, people still get angry over that. Since guests neither benefit or detriment from getting firsts, that's why they receive most of the hate (this is what I believe, not what all might find true).

Users have gross names, too. Most of the times, an admin or mod will kick the guest out for an inappropriate name, and ban (not sure if this still applies) if they don't follow the rules. The same is with users. They either get banned (does this still happen?) or have their name changed.

I don't see how they can be rude if they can't talk, so I'll just assume you're talking about actions they take. Yes, trolling is still part of the game, but if a guest is killing mice and just being downright annoying (through actions, of course), then you have all the right to voteban (/ban name) them. I still think users can be more rude, since they could actually chat with other mice.

Impersonation of Staff Members?

I honestly doubt that a guest called *Tigrounette will actually be Tigrounette. Hell, that's more tolerable than "Hey, I'm (insert admin's name) son/daughter, and if you don't stop I'll tell them to ban you >:(".

Summary:
Users and Guests are quite similar, so I don't see why more hate is being placed on guests.
