I'm personally quite fine with my name. I wanted to change it due to past issues but I would rather not in the end.
The most I'd do is drop the -hitastic and stick to Haru, but I doubt that'll be available.
I have a lot of other things I need to spend money on, so I don't see myself paying $10+ for a name.

no one said anything about changing their account's names to troll. like said above, people purposelly make NEW accounts with good names and never use them, so if you post your future username here, which isnt taken, chances are someone will take it with an alt.

^ yeah, what lilly said. creating an account is free, the username you want has to be unused, if you say it here chances are someone will create a free account with that name, and it will no longer be available.

Some name will be available, we don't know anything for sure tho.

i heard it was only inactive usernames with "very low" stats that would be re-released. Though i dunno what they consider very low stats.

Considering what you just pointed out, i wish that players paying for a name change will have a 1-2 days priority for changing their name and then all the "old" name will be available to new acccounts. I think that spending up to 10 $ (random number) should give me the opporrtunity to choose a good name instead of having them all taken again in a few minutes and forcing me to choose again a dumb name like mine.

People who are saying low price will cause abuse.. Then why don't they make it like the "Outfits" Your first outfit is 5 fraises and your 2nd++ is 50 So the same could be applied on name change first name change 350 2nd name change 700 3rd name change 700.. etc I think that would prevent abuse.
Another thing to note is "What if I Change my name how will my friends recognize me?" Well I have answered this multiple times..

The idea is pretty good, but always rising numbers of fraises wouldn't be the best marketing way, as I'd change my name 2 times, will have to pay over 700, next time might even more, that would suck.

Also about the appearing box, I did describe the same idea in the 2nd page. The layout will definately be different, but the idea is still the same. Though I'd love to have a (only me/friends/public can see my old name) option

Yes I agree that only your friends should be able to see your old name I wouldn't want my old name to show on my profile then after 1-3 months It won't show in your friendlist anymore. Plus to people who are saying that It's dumb to copy another game for such a small issue well 1. It's not copyrighted by them and many other sites are also doing this such as deviantart. I'm still sticking with the 350 first change and 700 for 3rd and 4th change because 350 is low and people would abuse it if it was 350 over and over .. Or at the start of each month It could reset to 350 I think that's a reasonable solution lol.

If the option to hide your old name for only friends or only just yourself to see, it should be able to be bypassed by certain usergroups such as Moderators and Administrators. By that I mean, Mods and Admins should be able to see the original names just by looking into their profile. If anyone asks why this option would be good, then think about users, who have been through major insults and abuse from other players, where mute won't help as they always make new accounts to bash on you and ruin your reputation by spreading lies. Think about it.

Also I suppose your idea helps towards players who barely can afford fraises. But eitherway, It will be up to Admins to put the prices. I just hope it won't reach 1000+ fraises

I hope it does actually, because there's already a player that "announced" he's going to take my username, after i said in public chat that i am giong to change it. TBH i think that he will do that because he already bought the same furs/accessories i use the most and he's already copyng my look.
