I think you kids take shit on the internet too seriously and need to either be medicated if you can't handle what some random stranger says or you need to quit the internet entirely and go outside and ride your bikes. There is an ignore option for a reason but sadly you idiots tend to see someone start saying stupid crap in the chat and never use it. Instead, you decide to man up and say something to the troll causing his outbursts to get worse and you more angry, which from here, rather than ignoring the troll like you should, you decide to report him to a moderator so you can feel a little better inside seeing them muted. And sadly the mods and rules are so terrible now they will mute you over pretty much nothing.

If the foul language really bothers you that much, there is the ignore function for a reason. I don't see anyone in-game complaining about it. If they don't like it, they use said ignore function. It's not that difficult. I know cyberbullying is a real thing, but usually you're not really targeted. If you're screamed at, it's usually for being a bad shaman and everyone forgets all about it next turn, so either ignore the butthurt whiners, or just don't let it bother you as much. Those people don't know you, why would you let them get to you? lol.

Now that person is muted for an hour for doing nothing and can't even contact a Moderator in game to help them with the situation.

System's fine as it is now, people just need to learn to use ignore.

oh so that doesn't happen with /ban already? just put the same rules on it as the vote kick has. it has to be room specific and it can't be abused, you could also program it so if someone gets muted they can whisper a mod about it and tell them what happened in case of abuse

any vote type option shouldn't last long either, just like the vote kick option that only lasts an hour, a votemute might only be for an hour or shorter.

I think the filtre would be a good solution if it worked better than it does now (at least last I checked it wasn't good)

I don't really mind with cussing but I agree with sabs that it's changed some young ones sadly

I can take it I use ignore but sometimes it just ge really bad yes then I report you or reporach you but I very rarely gets into a argument because of I it I just ignore them.
Negative attitude is not jsut forgotten after next map no it spreads and clings and reproduce. I say no I wil not stand by.
I am not getting worked up about a single nub call I just pretend it is not there or if I for osme reson am thin skinned that day I ignore. But I see the same people repeatly demaning others as a natural culture.

Is it fun to see shamans fail yes it is but laugh with them not off them. Why do I continue repeating myself you might ask, it is because I become truly concerned for all the kids in this game and I have the mental strength to do something about it.

It's not pretty much nothing and you should take things on the Internet seriously(in some cases). What if someone asks you a personal question that is classified information, then you don't take it seriously and just tell them? And some people don't pay much attention on things sometimes and kids are kids. Just to make an account in Transformice you only have to create a Nickname and a Password and no email needed

I said nothing about force I am asking my fellow mice in transformice to behave themself. I am asking here and out in the game and belive it or not it is usely recived posetive when I kindly ask them to stop insulting. It all about askign a in a respectfull and civil maner. You shoudl try it again do not start an argument an if they decline just ignore them.
It usely works best when somebody else than the offended part speak up. It the bystanders which should intervene.

It is a very nice idea that you're trying to speak to every mouse of this game and improve our mice-relationship, but I am worried not many people will listen to your request. This is a problem of the whole Internet and you are not able to stop it. There are millions of registered users on transformice.

Your quite right I cannot do it alone but I also encourage others to do the same. If I can get 100 to listen and they each can get 10 to listen and they again 10 then we already at 10.000 which is a good number to start from.

This has always been a problem in transformice I do not see the langue become better or worse and it is people of all ages doing it both children teenager and adults.

Be nice and respectfull to each other it cannot be said enough times.

A lot of people curse at each other as a joke or even use it affectionately. That means if you see some go like "You nub :3" it's not an insult, it's normal for them. It's not bullying, it's just friends talking to each other. Cursing has become as everyday to them as English itself. It's not a 'bad' word anymore, it's just part of their everyday language.

Also, we can't all be white knights. The unfortunate thing is that most of us are too apathetic to care. Also, I personally respond to all those 9 year olds calling shams 'idiots'. If someone is going like "idiot newbie sham", then that's bad. However, don't react to it so much. You seem... butthurt, I guess. The thing you have to understand is that we aren't all young children. A lot of people here are 18+ and as I said, don't care about curse words. Learn to deal with it or move to a better community.

Maraoone I perfectly understand and agree with you. I do understand friends calling each other nub I do that myself with my FRIENDS I do not go around insulting everybody random I see as some people do.SOmetims when a shaman fails in a funny way I say lolz fail :). But yes it mostly the shaman which is the subject of this. Poeple think they can tell how othes to play (I do it myself sometimes) or insult the shaman.
So having fun amongst your friends is fine but remmbe your friends know your phrases what is good and what is bad. If a person does not know oyu they might not know if your making fun or not. If I see somebody loz fuckign nub no I do not take offence or ignore report ot comment it. But what I see is allot more seriouse mice talkign about RL crimanal offences, people being persued and bullied. People saying a single curse word does not bother me.

Does caring equal butthurt ? I do not think it does,. I laugh of my own mistakes with others. And I laugh with them of their mistakes with them.
I care because I know it affects some people nomatter how old they are they can be affected by this. I am not concerned young children learns thise curse word I am affraid they believe it.

yes I know there are 18+ people on transformice I am one of them myself.
