Sorry to be that person but..

The reason roleplays seem weird to me now is because back in 2013 ( The days when I was very active on AJ.),

My friends and I used to use either these symbols

"* *" or "( )"

when roleplaying, we didn't made up or use words like: "mittens" or "lungusscopus"

So coming back to AJ to see the roleplays now really confused me and bothered me in a way.

Either the roleplayers think it's cool or makes them look more.. "Sophisticated"?
