You are very wrongly mistaken. The AJ community is not the best. Milkybum was right, it's shit. Over half of the community care about rares and spikes and think they're more important than the real world. There are only a few people who actually play the game for the adventures, their friends, and for educational purposes.

ok i just wanted 2 point this out but why do people always use the "UM WELL PEOPLE SHOULD MORE SO PLAY FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE! >:O" people barely play dat game for educational purposes and plus i dont rlly care for the education as i know lots about animals and if i feel like reading it i will (which i have done a lot) and half of the people on tfm and forums are more worse than a lot of aj players and not to mention the game is laggy so some people cant even play for adventures especially since adventures are probs one of the most laggiest parts of the game
and theyre just kids so of course lots of them care about rares and spikes give them a break geez

I feel like its still going on, but a few days ago Julian made an instagram post about Aparri stealing his ideas(i found out by youtube). I won't link it, but I just wanted to point that out.

I don't play aj but ppl think I do for some reason xD what I actually play is Fantage. Aj looks cute tho, It seems like another fantage where u just walk around buy cloths and chat with Ppl!

Animal Jam was made for kids to learn about animals. That was their purpose. They're still trying to get kids to look at all the facts around Jamaa, but all they care about are spikes. They think they're the best things ever. Even the famous jammers have 'taught' their watchers the same thing. It's like they care about spikes more than the real world. It's actually really sad.

If that isn't sarcasm, oh buddy. You surely haven't explored the depths of Animal Jam.
No one cares about wild life. No one cares about animals. Spikes, oh spikes. So precious to these kids. Top hats, paw rugs, glow rings galore!
There are greedy people everywhere who only care about getting an item through trading by giving away stuff they don't want.
The only fair community I've seen is a Minecraft server with only a limit of 50 players playing. It's actually very calm.

I completely agree. Mainly because I use the cafe daily.. I've heard that wisteria didn't make a tfm video in a year but then, all of a sudden, she goes on it again and brings her little fans.
