The fourth wave of amiibo will be released in Japan on April 29, 2015, and in Europe on April 24, 2015, and in North America on May 29th, 2015. This is the first wave of amiibo that includes unlockable characters.

I was surprised that I got out with the amiibo pre-orders I wanted. Someone was supposedly DDOS-ing the site so they just pulled the plug to let the registers go through with orders. The reps were so kind too, we just joked around and played smash while waiting.

I actually didn't know you could pre-order the splatoon amiibos till I got home, but they can't be super rare when they come out right?
