but the same argument could apply to people who do actually like the game. if someone wants to express their opinion, they should have the right to do so.

Can I just say- when I did play this game I was really good at scamming? I even scammed people's accounts that had memberships and knew how to change the parent dashboard... I was one evil kid. I still have a member account from then because it had a member that lasts for like 2500 days?!

I don't think you should be scared even if I still played. There is no hacking involved (Just Animal Jam's flawed system at hand) and the only way for me to change your dashboard is if I know your password and you don't have Play Wild tied to your username. owo

Well see, the membership is to run the game and since animal jam has a lot of players ( 200M+ ) they need a lot of money.
Same goes for transformice, that's probably why they made changing your username pretty expensive, more players were joining so they needed more money.
Also you can explore most of the game ( except adventures ) without membership so I wouldn't call it "exploring" that's restricted.

Animal Jam has around 70-85 million accounts (Judging by what was said on an interview with Clark Stacey in recent years, this number could have grown by now) - Not sure if that is individual players or accounts created, if the latter, imagine how many are storages.

If 70 Million is our guess, that means 1/107th of the worlds population plays AJ - If each of those is individual.

Interesting, I found out the 200M thing from the poster or banner that was released when apparently animal jam became the top US website. Saying over 200M players joined.
but club penguin had like 300M players at the top so idk why the poster was even made.
