I really like team Galactic, I liked their objective, outffits and maybe because my first game was Diamond xD

I hated gen 5 only because Iris & Cilan ruined it for me, mainly Iris. They were horribly annoying characters, especially with Iris constantly saying "You're such a little kid" it pissed me off to no end and just ruined the whole experience.

I love how they fixed everything in XY/XYZ though, I love Serena, Clemont & Bonnie, their characters are fun to watch and at moments I find them so cute. I also love the idea of mega evolution and the episodes where it's Ash vs Alan.

^This. Zekrom is probably my favorite dragon type legendary after Rayquaza, and 5th gen introduced a bunch of new functions (re-usable TMs, triple and rotation battles). If i'm not mistaken, it also introduced little instrument changes in some songs if you went near a certain area or person (eg. the girl playing a flute in Anville town, man playing guitar in Opelucid city). A lot of little detail additions like these were really interesting and made me like 5th gen a lot more.

Also, I think Team Plasma had an interesting motive. They were aiming to set free Pokémon from humans, seeing as some were being horribly beaten and abused. The only problem is that they THEMSELVES used Pokémon to carry out their crimes, stealing Pokémon from weaker trainers, therefore dashing their hopes of ever becoming better Pokémon Trainers. I liked the idea they had, but they were going about it the wrong way. Honestly, I think their motive just turned into a "oh we're just going to take over the world" kind of thing at the end. If they didn't rush it, Team Plasma could've been a whole lot smarter.

you meant Clemont, right? Clemont is Bonnie's older brother, and the 5th gym leader. I guess it was probably just a typo. Just saying though.

Team Flare, because they don't do jack shit until the end of the game, pretty much. Lets me play through and not have to worry about them.

xy to me has a more "close crew/family" growing together feel compared to previous series where ash is being accompanied by an older person

clemont is the best & since hes the nerd/geek stereotype and is so knowledgeable the plot can be taken anywhere since he can just whip up an invention for the scenario

I... I think we're talking about the game, ppl loved gen 5 anime, but hated gen 5 game

The gen 5 game was good! I don't know why everyone hates it so much!

It has the best storyline
AND OST

The plot and atmosphere of it all was really good! It's such an underrated game!
