A married couple wanted to celebrate their marriage a few years later.
They had three children.
Two daughters and a son.
The first daughter was 10, the other was 6. The son was 3. They hired a babysitter to watch over the kids while they were gone.
The babysitter was watching T.V after the kids went to bed, well, trying to watch T.V. There was a weeping angle statue near the corner of the room, where a window was located. She got paranoid, yet when back to trying to watch T.V. She then got so paranoid, she called the parents and asked: "May I cover up your angel statue?" The father hesitated before replying: "Grab the kids and get out the house. We don't own an angel statue." She did as told.
The police arrived a few minutes later. There were NO survivors.

In February,2000, the haunted painting was put up for sale on eBay and an auction begun. Today, many wonder if it was a true story, or a marketing ploy. Item 251789217 was it's name on eBay, but it quickly became known in the internet as the "Haunted eBay Painting"

The item disciption in itself was Bizzare:

After the description, there were eight shots of the item. Two were overview shots, Slightly left of center on the canvas, we see a boy of perhaps 5 or 6, with sloping houlders and a heavy brow, scowling at us. He would dress as we would expect any early- or mid twentieth century middle- or lower-class young boy to be dressed: A blue T-Shirt, Greenish shorts, short socks and shoes. His dirty blonde hair is cropped into a very short crew-cut on his blocky head. His expression - his small, deep-set eyes, and his slightly downturned frown - are the look of an alien: disdainful curiosity. "You are not supposed to be here."

This auction is nearing the end. I want to thank the more than 13000 people that took the time to look at this image on ebay. I appreciate the more than 30 suggestions, that I received regarding blessing the house, exorcising and cleansing. 7 emails reported strange or irregular events taking place, when viewing this image. And I will relay two suggestions made by the senders. First not to use this image as the background on the screen, and second not to display this image around juveniles or children. Last not least, thanks for apreciating the art as well.
