i have no teeth

Hello. I am currently 18 and have lost all of my baby teeth. I had braces for three years from when I was 13-15. I still wear a retainer but only by choice and only at night. Please don't be scared about your braces. Do and wear whatever your orthodontist says because I am telling you it pays off. My teeth are perfect right now.

right now I have a wobbly tooth (which isn't very wobbly) and I'm just waiting for it to wobble out by itself.
I never notice if my tooth comes out because I don't feel pain when it wobble out wow.

ii probably had about 20 loose teeth for the past 2 years and it was a pain
but now i'm relieved i don't have to put up with the pain with loose teeth
because it sucks when you're eating food

i hate my molar right now, it freaking bothers when i eat

I have a tooth growing in my gum(Above all my teeth) im afraid they will pull it out! IM SO SCAREDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I don't think a good dentist would pull it out. I have the same thing, and it's only the adult tooth trying to come out early.
No good dentist would pull that tooth out, 'cause it's an adult tooth!

If they did pull it out (which would be painful, due to the roots) then the spot that tooth was suppose to go in, would end up tooth-less!!

No its like a tooth that is not post to grow there. Its like on top of my gum and the rest are growing out of the gum on the bottom :(

My first teeth that were loose were my front bottom ones. Two of them loose at the same time. Really weird, lol. You usually have like 2 loose teeth, 1 gets pulled and the other one gets pulled out later. Though those bottom ones were pulled out at the same time.

A bit late, sorry!

And yeah, I had braces before. Nothing to be scared of.

I used to be super metal and pull out my teeth even if they were only mildly loose. it usually ended with blood and pain, but hey, quick tooth fairy money!
i don't think i have any loose teeth anymore, i probably pulled them all out about a year ago

You guys are right. They aren't terrible.

They just feel very very weird....

I lost my last (I hope) baby tooth when I was 16 y/o. I was amazed because that was the fastest tooth that grew back. But the pain when I got that pulled out .... Also for 4 yrs I'm living with a huge hole in my molar because some dentist screwed my inlay which fell in 2 months. But, oh well, all my other teeth are fine and pretty good.

Bothersome braces....
They make it impossible to take big bites of cheeseburgers.

Nerds are fun

Besides, braces usually last only a year and a half (or 2 years).

i've lost all of my baby teeth.
i've had braces when i was ages 9-12.
i would've had my braces off when i was 11, but my ortho was waiting for this one tooth to fall out, and it finally did. yeesh.
so now i wear a retainer, i used to wear it 24/7, only taking it out when i have to eat. but now, i can only wear it at night.

for those of you who are getting braces and are scared, it's okay. your mouth only hurts for a few days, but after a while you get used to them.
also, the stereotype where nerds have braces and glasses, that is highly not the case.
just because you have braces and glasses, it doesn't mean you're a nerd. it just means you're getting your teeth fixed, and you have poor eyesight, so you have something to help you see better.

oh also, do what your ortho says, no matter how ridiculous it sounds. it really pays off. mine said to brush my teeth at least 3 times a day. i never did, but now i realize how important that is.
also, take this advice, the better you take care of your braces, the sooner you can get them taken off.
the process of getting the braces off is actually pretty painless, so if you're worried about the pain of getting them off, there's no pain involved. just a little pressure when they scrape the glue off your teeth, and that's about it.
