Undyne's all about patterns, she's not that hard when you get it down. There's only a few attacks that can have different patterns (I could upload my fight with her if that'd help).

yeah, i have all her other attack patterns down, it's just the yellow arrows.....i can't wrap my head around fast enough to be able to react to them. i might just go watch someone's walkthrough to memorise which direction i should be blocking for the yellow bullets.

Yellow bullets just go in the opposite direction they're coming in, so up is down, left is right, right is left, and down is up.

It is really confusing though, but the attacks always come in the same order too which is nice.

Yep. Some of the yellow ones are pretty easy to read when they're paired with the normal blue arrows. It's the attacks that are all yellow bullets that usually throw me off. :P

The way I got past her was doing my best to not take a single hit up to some point, and then try to block as much yellow arrows as possible and then just fully heal up afterwards when it goes back to attacks I can deal with.
