I love you art and I have a small question if you don't mind.

I'm decently young, have self-confidence issues and is a extreme beginner to the art world. I usually enjoy drawing anthropomorphic animals. I like to draw on paper, but I do have Manga Studio Pro (But god forbid I know how to use it). Have any tips or tricks you have learned?

hmmm, well i know it's super cliche but one of the best ways to get better at art is practice! and lots of it!! absolutely don't be afraid to use references and even trace if you need to (but obviously don't claim it as your own and ask for permission if you post it online).

also, it really helps to expose yourself to lots of different art. tumblr and deviantART are good places for this. exposing yourself to different art styles can help you develop your own art style, as well as just generally improving your art. watching speeddraws/livestreams is also very useful

i don't use manga studio pro, so i can't really help you there, but i'm sure other forumers can!

i have giant self-esteem issues so i totally understand how you feel there.
i dunno, i know a lot of people say to try not to compare yourself to other people but that's easier said than done. i guess if you are going to compare yourself to other people, don't let it affect you negatively - use it as motivation to fuel your improvement!

if you ever feel really down about your art, remember that you first started drawing because you enjoyed it and it was fun - not for popularity or anything like that
