this game isnt fair
you should have startteed at 750 becauae it is in the middle of 0 and 1500. this gives everyone a fair chance
or you could let couples add or subract 2 and singles add or subtract 1
starting at 500 means that some havejust 500 to win but the othes need 1000 to win
