I doubt they will. Transformice is the main money maker for Atelier801 company.

No flash updates doesn't mean it will begone. It is just risky (especially for realtime networked application) and may will be burdened with crackers.

A vulnerable application is a BIG no-no when connected to the internet. The player privacy and personal information may be leaked easily once they learn more about flash which will never receive updates to fix any found security holes.

Those games will shut down eventually if the developers are lazy to port it to newer and viable platforms (HTML5).

Bigger companies (Google, Microsoft, Apple, Mozilla) started a war years ago to Adobe and their services like Flash Player due their bad security and also for the HTML5 tecnology. There's no return in this way and also killed Java Applets or Unity 3D games (you can't install Unity into Chrome anymore).

They cannot decide for their product to stay on browsers. It is all depends on the community if they want to use it or not.
Unfortunately, the Flash's user community is fading away, due to its propietary nature, the securities bugs and exploits cannot be patched by the community themself which make the matter even worse. Contrary to for example, v8 javascript engine or open sourced web rendering engine where the user themself can fix and release their patches to the whole world and even get accepted by the vendor as an upgrade.

Flash is impossible, unless you want to violate its EULA.

They won't release the newer flash anymore around 2019-2020, but doesn't mean that you cannot download the last provided version of flash.

Still, it is not a good idea to run flash where 0 day exploits are pretty common in this platform, and highly potential to be a victim if you are a user of Windows.

^ Transformice is not big enough to have its own console game, though.
And "building" this game on another system would mean that they'd have to start from scratch and chances are, people won't have their accounts anymore.
Transformice will just be a standalone game once Flash ends support.

also nekodancer will probably be killed, unless ateilier801 rewrote all their games in html5 or something

they have Run For Cheese, they can probably try

Isn't the standalone running on Flash too?

If yes, it is just vulnerable as the web version. The different is, the flash is bundled with the software so the users don't have to get into trouble downloading flash plugin manually.

I wonder if Baffler's standalone would still work but I doubt it.
