So if I'm correct, Adobe Flash would stop supporting around 2020? So games like at would shut down because of this?

ActionScript is one. mxmlc by Adobe can compile it among with the Flash and AIR platforms.

Edit: Standalones depend. If it's the official one it runs on Adobe Air, and I am unsure of Adobes plan with that because I am not really familiar with the technology. Maybe someone who does can weigh in their opinion. I'd imagine it could stop supporting Flash too. For other standalones most use the Flash installed to the OS, (it's been a while since I did standalone coding), so likely they will die.

As far as I know, Adobe Air applications bundle the Flash Player.

I really wonder about DeadMaze to be honest, I don't know if it's using Flash too but most likely it does use Flash since it's being tested by the testers on browser.

Atelier is doing the wrong thing imo trying to keep their standalone monkey patched. They need to recode the whole thing, I'm curious if there's statistics on how many people use third party standalones or browsers versus the official standalone.

Also, I've never used the steam standalone but I assume that has dependency on a Flash distribution being on the OS

Edit: also, that's interesting info about Air apps I didn't know they bundled the flash player. Even so, it looks dodgy from atelier to rely on their own standalone. There could be future changes by 2020 to how Air operates then Atelier is forced to rely on defunct toolchains
