I think there should be a warning for the 13+ people and for the bad language when they register.

so they could have a choice,
i'm only 11.

I think it's a game for all ages . Moreover, if they had to put with over 13 years of age to play , they have put over 13 years old and ready .

I'm 12, but I don't think this is that big of a problem. All they have to do is filter the language. The world is more than this, for example, if you go out into the streets, there would be a bunch of people cursing (depends on where you are). There is nothing wrong with Transformice with the game itself. It's only the swearing, people can get used to it. People swear all the time all of over the internet. You can get used to it.

It's easy to fake your age, though.

I asked my parents before joining. And as @Olliethekit said, it says nothing about being 13 in order to play.

well this is the internet & just like every other page its hard to keep a game "clean". I'm 15 & i constantly see swearing & sextalk in every room, i would assume people do this bcus they can't or are too shy to do that in RL, so coming on a game and talk openly about it might be easier?

It's so easyyyyyy for people , especially young kids to be influenced. I have a 10/11 year old sister playing this game daily, she is addicted and with all this swearing i get worried, bc sometimes the stuff people are talking about online is just incredible nasty. I remember when i once even caught her swearing at someone with words she would never EVEEER say in real life, so ofc i talked to her and my mum. My mum got mad and didnt let her play for a week, then she never repeated it.

but i dont blame the game for this, bc this is how the internet is, people can say and do what they want without consequences ( except a ban if its too vulgar)

You cant do anything about the dirty talk/troll etc thats going on bc honestly if older kids want to talk about sex or somehing that is seen as a 'dirty' they should be allowed to , since at their age theres nothing wrong with these topics.

But yeah, i would instead say to these young kids to not play any game where you can communicate w other ppl at all , theres many offline games that works perfectly fine too, or you can just ignore the chat/switch room etc .
or play it and just accept how it is, at ur own risk.

Lol! No. I started this game when I was young. There should be no age limit, this is a game for everyone. What about Bouboum, Fortoresse, and Nekodancer? Do they have to be 13+ too? All of Atelier801 games are for all. You shouldn't need to specify your age to play a game. Like the other said, you can enable the language filter if it's a problem for you; that's why it's there.

As said many times: you can lie easily. There's also a lot of people on this game younger than 13 already. Likewise: I'm 13 now, but I was 9 when I joined. (Though back then I don't think there was a 13+ guideline that I can recall.) The language filter has also been around for the past few years, it will be there in the options if the swearing is bothersome to the person.

I asked my parents before joining. And as @Olliethekit said, it says nothing about being 13 in order to play.

I think that there should be certain rooms for under 12, teens, and adults.

It's still easy to fake your age, however.

from what i've seen i understand the COPPA rules on this game

I am 12 but I dont have a problem with the cussing.
And no matter if TFM asked them to put their age, people could still lie. I personally think this game shouldn't turn into a boring shit like Animal Jam where everything is appropiate and friendly, because WHERE IS THE FUN?!
If parents don't want their kids to hear cussing and find out about porn, they should monitorize their kids better. The Internet is never safe, you can always find 7 year olds on a 13+ game and we can't do anything about it, really.
Since this game says clearly that cussing IS ALLOWED, I don't see a problem. It's not TFM's fault that a little kid enters this game, it's the parents' fault. After all, it's also the parents' job to take care of their kids, and if they don't, we can't do anything about that.

But a lot of people don't read Terms of use for games on the internet anyway, people usually only read the rules, because they are shorter. (And ToS are usally 15+ paragraphs or something)

No hate but it's true with most people :P

It's not like it prevents kids from faking their age, so I don't think this would solve any problems. Everyone of any age is allowed to play this game and as for the inappropriate content, there are simply many a**holes in the world who won't stop talking inappropriately in front of kids and posting other inappropriate links. You can just get on with it and ignore them, otherwise some kids are and always will lie about their age.
