keep your energy on transformice and transformice adventures as those seem to be your best games so far. what really made the company struggle was deadmaze, and y'all lost a lot of money for a game that died hard, i personally don't think it was worth it.

either way, i wish the company good luck, and hopefully y'all can raise from the ashes like a phoenix.

As far as I know, Ántares is a game with which they are learning to use HTML5 and thus be able to develop TFMA with greater ease and knowledge.

Something that bugs me about these games (Nekodancer, Bouboum and Fortoresse) is that Meli seems to imply they were serious projects, intended to make a serious profit eventually. But I never saw them as serious games, more like half-baked experiments (including ports of their previous experiments).

Moreover, they were quickly dropped because they didn't reach expectations. But you can't have high expectations with an unpolished game. All three of them suffer from bugs that harm the game experience, are severely unpolished in different aspects or simply lack enough/essential features.

I mean I did enjoy playing these games back then but I never expected them to be successful, at least not in their current state.

You may think that, but Nekodancer is written in Flash which will be completely unsupported by next year, relies on the completely unsupported YouTube API that could disappear any day, and there's a bunch of other similar games out there that already have track editors and a lot more going on. It seems like way more of a risk putting more time into that than could ever be earned from it.

The big problem of the company is knowing what to do, what to do today and what they are doing wrong. They have to start launching games for mobile devices, stop making games for Steam or PC, what is sold today in technology are mobile games.

I think Tfm Adventure would have been a success if it had been released for mobile devices. Nowadays, we all have a mobile phone. It is easier to open the mobile device and play, than having to go to the PC

TFM Adv could be played on mobile too.

Let me go ahead and write a... thank you note of sorts to Atelier 801.

I just want to say that Transformice means quite a bit to me. It has helped me find quite a few good friends, and it has help me grow as a person. For the year I've been in this community, I've been able to learn so many new things and meet tons of people. I'm quite sad to hear that Atelier 801 is going through some problems at the moment, even if I haven't been around for as long as others. I really hope you guys stay strong through all of this, and continue to develop this beautiful game for everyone. Even if there is the possibility Transformice will shut down, i'll never forget what this game has helped me achieve.

Thank you. Let's hope this game continues to live on, and we can have plenty of good memories while it's still around! ❤
