I personally think that insects have too much hate. They're just as innocent as any puppy or kitten, and deserve love and care just the same.

People think it's heartless to kill a puppy or a kitten....
But a spider? A roach? "Thank you for killing it, I was scared!"

I consider killing bugs as animal abuse. I absolutely hate it.


Does anyone agree?

On a more cheery note, my favorite bug is probably either the dragonfly or the inch-worm. Inch-worms are so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So are dragonflies! :D

And, do earth worms count as bugs? I absolutely love earth worms. I love holding them, and petting them. I have always enjoyed digging in my backyard and trying to find earthworms in the dirt. It was like my version of a treasure-hunt. I always made sure to release the earthworms after petting them, too. They deserve their freedom.

Oh, and on career day at school a few weeks ago, I got to pet a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach. They even gave me a sticker for petting it which says "I touched a ROACH". My friend didn't want hers, so she gave it to me. I put my first one on my note book, and the second on the back of my phone. If you guys want, I can post a picture of it. I show no shame. :P

umm... i dont consider killing bugs as animal abuse in fact dats way different...?

it's only animal abuse if the creature in question is being tortured. as for bugs, most of the time theyre swatted and die instantly. so it isnt exactly 'animal abuse'
