I know people mostly (PG-13) 13+in this game but that I think it's tricks for their age or possibly lies. It's actually people likes to being inappropriate and I saw people is 9/10 years old then 11/12 years old in the game but it's doesn't mention their age. Also It's tfm Not for kids and just teen game of this because swearing. I'm 14 almost 15 Dernière modification le 1435859400000 |

iialiciaii a dit : i think that its quite sad for the people that play this under 13 that people are always saying that its only 13+ but people under 13 can still play as long as if they ignore the inappropriate stuff and the swearing on this game and this has become and issue.the age problem and the inappropriate words and the swearing has turned transformice to a 13+ game only. if only people could stop being inappropriate and stop swearing and playing inappropriate stuff in music this game would be just fine for all ages.Excpet the ages that cant be on the computer yet. |

Meh, people above 13 years of age can act childish while others might be below 13 and be pretty mature. If only there was a way to test maturity, but people can pretend to act mature when they really aren't so. quietly chuckles since i joined when i was 10 and didn't find out about the requirement until two years later Yeah, they should add a 13+ or parent permission sign in big bold letters somewhere, most of the kids don't even bother to read the Terms and Conditions nowadays. |

Danbot a dit : There is literally no mature players on TFM that are 15+. Come on, This is TFM and the internet in general, Do you think people are actually mature when their 15+? I've seen a 9 year old more mature than a 15+ ( Probably 17 now ) year old. And on games like Chicken Smoothie, They have COPPA for players under age 13. COPPA could be handy sometimes in TFM, Although, You can't talk on Chicken Smoothie if you're COPPA, You should be able to still talk on Transformice, Since that's really the charm imo, But you just shouldn't be able to say words like " Aw man this shit is so fucking good holy shit " etcetc. You should be able to say what most kids would say when it was like, Parents time of being kids, They wouldn't say those words, They would talk like a kid would. So you should be able to say things like " Hey! How are you? What are you doing? " etc Nevermind COPPA idea would suck bc then people would bully kids who are COPPA. [00:37] [Spencedragon] dont make me kick ur ass through the internet This. I just, He's 12 I think. I just.. Oh god. Dernière modification le 1436693760000 |

Honestly, age shouldn't matter. What should would be the maturity of the player. As stated in previous posts on this thread, how a nine year old is possibly more mature than a 15 year old, easily demonstrates. If you're like, 10 and can handle any situation like a mature adult and ignore anything you believe is inappropriate, why should your age be considered to avoid this site? That's because it's based on the majority audience of the age, which are believed to not be able to handle immature behavior. Age shouldn't be the unit used. We need to focus on how they/we act. It shouldn't matter as "all for one". Dernière modification le 1436979000000 |

I agree. It doesn't matter the age of the person playing, but their maturity. I honestly can't say that I'm all that mature 90% of the time and I'm 25. However, I do get alot of crap from younger players stating that I'm too old to be playing this game and that I have no life. I'm sorry, but I do have a life. I'm happily married. I may not have kids and have extra spare time, but my husband gets the attention and love he needs from me without this game being a hassle. He knows my reasons for playing this game, and knows how long I've been a member of TFM. Besides, at least 50% of my friends list is 18+ yrs old. Some are even older than me, and I'm sure there are more people out there that I haven't met yet who are older than me as well. |

cool to see other people my age :) i tend to stay quiet in chat, and if age comes up i usually say something along the lines of "what does age matter when i'm just a mouse getting cheese?" cos when i do say my age it's always "omg, you're too old for this." "you must have no life." "are you a pedo?" or "why arn't you out paying taxes." I hate the "you must be a pedo, playing a 'kiddies' game" attitude. cos yanno, adults ain't allowed to have fun unless it's malicious or something... a couple of weeks ago a girl started whispering to me randomly asking me if i was a boy or a girl, when i asked why does it matter she said "cos if you're a boy i like you, but if you're a girl we'll just be friends." i asked her why she liked me, seen as i'd not said a word to her, was it cos of the way my mouse looked or something? She wouldn't tell me and got really defensive. Then kept asking if i would be her boyfriend. I eventually told her i was a 26 year old girl, and that she ought to be more careful about the kind of things she says to random complete strangers on the internet. she was mega freaked out. I pointed out to her that her parents must have told her not to do this exact thing (tell strangers personal stuff and come on to them online) and she said they did, when i asked her why she did it anyway she just said she didn't know. I don't see this as "leading her on" or anything, as i never said i was a boy, or that i liked her, or anything crazy like that. I simply was asking her WHY was she acting the way she was, and she couldn't give answers, i don't think she even thought about reasons for actions online :( and yeah, most of the playerbase is horridly immature, but i think that's cos it's the environment that's been nurtured here. What with trolling practically encouraged by the main dev, and swearing "allowed" it makes it a kind of "free for all" place where people say stuff and act ways they never normally would cos 1) they know they can get away with it. and 2) everyone else does it. Squirrelmows a dit : Gods yeah. I get this too. It's really funny, but at the same time it's really sad. What does it matter my age -- games are games. Adults are permitted to play games too. Instead, I get called a no lifer all the time, and one time someone told me to go have sex with my boyfriend and pay taxes instead of being on TFM. The delicious irony is... it's true, I am a no lifer. I work two jobs and have very little to no time to enjoy myself. I have no life because it's all work. also it's a long distance relationship. |

i find myself with less and less time these days cos i've committed most of my week to volunteering for a charity, and on top of that i have to do boring housework and cooking and other wifey stuff, and help my elderly granny with her garden and vacuuming, so a game where i can log on for literal minutes and still make a difference to my stats is great and just what i need. But i despise the attitude that i'm clearly either someone who doesn't acomplish anything (you should be paying taxes!) or is an evil child abuser (omg you pedo for playing a kids game!) I find extremely offensive. this is why i usually just keep quiet in chat. And why i have a bare-bones profile with no gender or anything. |

Well, a 4 years old was playing the game in my room, A ... 4 ... years ... old I mean, Age problems are real, and it's easy to guess why Join ANY room in which you find a "quarrel", if one of the sides is abusing Capital letters, acting very stubborn and overall "Raging" , then 70% of the time you'll find out that it's a 13- player. Oh well, I WAS one of them and now I am having lessons on self-control(>.<). This what makes age , a problem : Maturity. (random note : I wouldn't post here if I wasn't interested ...) I have an idea- sort of. If Atelier made you enter your age, they could have different servers for different age groups. So anybody 13 and over could go into one server, where you can say what you want and do what u want (within reason), and then anybody between the age of 10-12 go into a different server where mods review language etc. THEN anybody between 7-9 could go into a server where there is a language and speech filter, so you cant curse or give away personal info. And anybody below the age of 6 just shouldn't be aloud to play. Tell me what you think of this :) |

i don't really think there's age problems in tfm because if somebody says "stop swearing i'm only 9" or something you can just ignore them. but that's just my opinion, unless i'm missing something. |
