i used to play fireboy and watergirl when i was smaller

I just got a notice like, last night that flash browser support would end in december 2020

i don't know which day, it just said "december 2020"

so we have flash until then

As of now, I'm currently blocked from using TFM and left with nothing to do about it as Steam refuses to function on my tablet. This blows!

thats because TFM is not intended to be played from mobile or a tablet because of the controls as you would find yourself frustrated of using it (especially doing wj and whatnot) so im not sure what youre rambling on about.

explain to me, why are you using tablet for the game? Ae_86 already stated, it'd be a frustration when you get to play on it, and i don't think A801 ever supported tfm for android, except if it's "run for cheese". other than that, just download the OG through pc/laptop or mac and you're okay. not trying to be mean to you tho, but it'd be kinda ironic if current tfm players and newcomers believe, they could play the game through tablet or phone lol
the same question was already answered eons ago, so it'd be easy to lookup if you can play it on tablet/phone or not.

Use Puffin browser for Transformice. Quite laggy, but it works.

I've been seeing a lot of people in-game saying that Transformice will cease to exist in 2020.

This is not true.
All's this means is Flash will no longer be supported by most, if not all, browsers. Transformice would have to be played through a standalone, which is accessible through Steam or the website itself. Just because you may not have Steam doesn't mean you can no longer play Transformice.

Transformice will still be perfectly playable after Flash is no longer supported, just not through most browsers.

Well good luck for them eitherway. I haven't seen any efforts from them by at least trying to promote their game so that they don't lose good part of browser players or them thinking of attracting any new ones, unless they're keeping it alive if working on HTML5 hopefully, since so far the efforts of doing that has been pretty low in that regard.

Sentinel edit 2 (14/8/19): As of the most current Google Chome update (76.0.3809.100), Flash is now blocked by default, and a message will appear when you first start Chrome warning you about the discontinuation of Flash. There is a tutorial which can be found here, which tells you how to enable Flash. The current date for Flash to be discontinued is December 2020.
