My suggestion: Keep the "Menu" button in game where it's always been, but don't have a drop down list anymore. Upon clicking "Menu", instead of being able to select "Menu" for a second time, as well as friends and shop and map editor and so on, have clicking the first "Menu" button bring up this new pretty piece of art. It seems redundant to have a button named menu pop up when you click menu. And there's no REASON to click it because everything is available in that same drop down list. Also, you should add "Friends" to the art menu!

Edit: ALSO, when logging into the game, don't put us in a room. Have us in a sort of limbo area with only the menu. I'm used to being put in a room the moment I log on and often times, being placed right at the beginning of a match so I'm still in the race. Having to close the menu button can easily put me behind a few seconds. Not a huge deal, but I personally think it'd be better.
