People's attitudes on this game

i just wanted to say that theres some very rude people on this site.

like i would just ask a small question like "why did you put me in the hole, i was already going towards it" or stuff like that, things that didnt sound even a bit rude, then five people gang up on you and bully you and say rude things just because you said one little thing.

once i was like "oh look a new person, hello there :)" when someone was shaman bc they were having a hard time building and people were being rude to him and everyone started being rude to me and im like wow really just leave me alone dayum

like great more people i didnt want to ignore or who i didnt hate ok thanks.

even if they have a bad life outside of the internet, it doesnt mean they have to take it out on others.

then theres those people who get mad at the shaman just because theyre new to the game? come on really.

why cant everyone just be happy instead?

alot of people come on here to have fun.. isnt that the point of the game?

Why can't everyone just use Ignore?..

The anonymity the Internet offers, of course, doesn't help either. If you don't respond, they'll most likely stop bothering you. As cliché/cleeshay as this sounds, the best way for you to change this is to just be positive and kind yourself.

Ikr! Plus people swear to others way to often on this game. That's when i hate TFM. Just because you have free chat dosen't mean you should go willy nilly with bad language and bully everyone. There are alot of young kids who play this game that are exposed to it everyday! My younger sister was bullied so hard on tfm. A guy swore and insulted her for no reason and it broke her heart! Have a heart or at least a self conchies world!

Well since they decided to keep this open i'll say it YET again (it's around the 6th time, I believe)
Just use IGNORE and contact a mod if the insults get out of hand (racist etc..)

There isn't enough mods to cover up all of the communities in my opinion. Ignore button makes you not to see his messages, but others in the room can read him loud and clear. "Let them ignore him too" but that ignore button, does not fix the problem with that player.

Myself I am from Lt community, and most of us has to "deal with it" because there isn't a mod to control the swearing and spamming

There are reasons why this happens maybe your sister Messed up someone's build or threw a ball or puffer and killed someone there.You can use a button that has the word IGNORE on it to ignore someone and you can't see their messages.

I still find it hard to ignore everyone in time. I wish I could ignore everyone before it happens. Give me a break, and tell me about those language mods. I'm pretty new to this game. I just play tfm cause my friends play it.

People are rude on this game. It used to bother me when I first started playing but now I just don't care. They don't know me or what I've been through and they probably are young and immature as well. I just laugh when people insult me and I have a list of my favorite insults I've gotten. People are just mean on the internet and other people take it all to seriously.

Being a player since 2011, I've learned to become immune to all sorts of comments.
Just remember that the rude person behind the screen doesn't know who you are, so you don't have to worry about anything. If it gets out if hand, talking to Moderator would be helpful.

I don't know if you know this but SO many schools are taught how to stay safe on the internet. For smaller children, which this game LOOKS that it's intended to, the internet is a serious cause. One mistake and everything goes down the hill. It's not very good advice for people of even all ages to not take the internet seriously.
For older age groups, people are maturing and learning to think before they post. Younger people are still developing and need to be taught the basics of internet safety.

Okay, I don't understand, like why don't you ignore them? The ignore button is put because of some people harassing, and other things. The ignore button isn't a decor, if it's a decor, then it's a useful decor. You can also talk to a moderator if the person keeps harassing you. (I am not trying to be rude, just saying.) :D

Just because your friends play it that does not mean you have to play it,you don't have to ignore EVERYONE just the people who are harassing you There Is mods that can ban people who are being racist and Offensive to other religions.You can ignore someone with a SIMPLE 2 clicks.
