People's attitudes on this game |

People can be extremely nasty and rude. The important thing to remember is that you can rise above them by not saying anything at all. While standing up for yourself is a good thing, saying anything RUDE back to them is stooping down to their level. You can always talk to your friends about how you feel or ignore them! (The bullies, not your friends!) This is why the ignore function was created. If you truly feel that someone is being racist, homophobic, or something else, just contact a mod! I personally feel that there is a greater balance of nice people than rude people. Which one are you? Last edit on 1408823700000 |

Lot's of people in this game tend to have.... a shortage of tolerance towards each other. I have been killed by a Sham on maps where we're supposed to work together, and I'm perfectly cool with it. Thing is, they kill all the mice, or don't finish building in time. That's what bothers me because mice were waiting for that cheese, two minutes wasted because one sham couldn't risk the thought of me "messing up". It's probable, but we had a better chance of finishing. Arguments are another big thing. People tend to stray from facts or inner opinions and begin to just curse mercilessly at each other. I always try to see both sides in an argument, but truth be told, sometimes I do also loose my tolerance. Afterwards, I apologize, and mice refuse to accept it and keep being rude to me. I choose to ignore them, apologize once again, and be on my way. Rude mice are pretty much in every room, and I can't help but think it's the stress of the game. It makes me sad, really, the internet is somewhere for people to lighten up, to enjoy life. Games help us make connections with people (in this case) and have fun! We waste our time on them, we practice on them because we want to be good at a game we love. And then there's the mice that ruin the fun for everyone with their attitude. It's disappointing, but hey, there's always good mice out there. Mice that understand, and that are kind to all. |

Just because someone swore at you doesn't mean he or she actually means it, he or she might be having a bad day. Bah, I don't usually use the ignore button (unless spammers ofc) because, What are the chances of meeting that person again? and If they flamebait people everyday, what ate the chances of remembering them? Even if I meet them again, I usually don't remember their names (bad memory hehe) because they aren't in my ignore list. So I don't see why I need to use the ignore button. |

its hard to use the ignore button when you didnt hate them in the first place then all of a sudden theyre rude to you. like people dont need to do this. |

Change rooms. Ignore them. If they're extremely harassing, you could even report them. Be mindful of the way you come across. If you're messing around at the end of the map and not going to the hole, expect people to get upset. Likewise, if you say something unnecessary like "why did you put me in the hole, i was already going towards it" You're going to sound like a fool. 1. If your objective was to enter the hole, then why would you be upset that someone put you in the hole? 2. If the shaman puts you in the hole, it's obviously to save mice and save time. So from this we can conclude you were probably doing dumb stuff and trolling instead of going into the hole. Which is perfectly acceptable. You're going to get backlash for it, though. Pretty much everyone just needs to stop taking the internet so serious, especially on a mouse game. |

I don't have a problem with people being rude too much. I don't like the people that are constantly craving attention and spamming up the chat thinking everything they have to say is hilarious. Then someone similar says something back to start a frenzy of autistic sentences that don't even seem to make any sense. Then the worse possible thing happens, they become regulars on the room you've been playing on for years! The brainless are always there now. They come and go in usually groups of 3-6. They are like attention zombies. Attention is what keeps them going and they keep feeding each other in these small bundles of satan. I dunno, maby i'm just to old to play this game now... Started in grade 5, going in to grade 10, i'm a bit ashamed i still play. |

I hate it when a noob mouse starts cussing you because you did a mistake, and the noob doesn't even know how to build. -.- Also when people compare profiles. You're talking with somebody with a really pro profile, and when you do a mistake, the person starts calling you noob and laughing at your profile. I mean profiles don't matter, you know there are really pro mice that make new account all the time, and they get insulted just because their profile is noober, when they are really pro in real. To me, a lot of players in TFM are rude and act like 3 year old kids if you ask them a simple and harmless question. It's not like I insulted you dude, I just asked a question!!! For example, I ask: Why did I get killed so fast? And the answer usually is "Because you're noob". Did I insult them or something? NO! And they don't even know me, they don't have the right to judge me .-. |

The internet is but a form of communication. Just because someone's being rude on the internet it doesn't make it any more okay than in real life. I don't understand why everyone's shrugging the topic off and saying to just ignore them. I'm not denying that ignoring is by far the best way to deal with these situations, because it probably is. But the fact remains that if you've got to ignore someone in almost every public room you go to, something's got to be wrong here. |

said: Why do you feel it's wrong to put you in the hole, as you said you were already going towards it. I remember someone asking the same thing to me, and it did sound rather silly to whine about it, the only good response to that is just ignoring it. Why do you critique people's past choices and comment on stuff if you dont dont feel its worth to argue about it in first place. |
