What Does Atelier 801 Do For You? |

I've been warned for doing something like this before, but to be frank, trying to silence someone over something you possibly deem as "petty" or "unnecessary" is ridiculous. Many things currently hopping about that just seem mostly useless to a lot of players. I feel the need to address these things because I'm not getting the previous satisfaction I had been out of playing this game. A lot of what is happening in game is really just a waste of time and a poor attempt to satisfy customers because in reality, we are the consumer. One thing that I have always found held true is that the consumer is always right. Generally, this is a complaint thread. Complaints that I myself and others have stacked up over recent times to piece together to make this thread available to you. If you would like to leave a complaint for us here, that would be much appreciated as the suggestions threads don't exactly work particularly well. Now, the elections are a concept that puzzle many people for many reasons. Most players don't know what the function of the system is and that is fine. What isn't fine is that they are not working and that nobody is paying attention to outcries by those who want a system that is effective and does something for each community. Previously I defamed someone and I know not to make that choice again. However, the reality of the situation is that nobody has a voice that is heard by anyone higher up than the average mouse. Few are adamant enough to actually make an effort to deal with what is arising. I fear that the person who wins the elections every time will be the same person; that person will do nothing whatsoever to aid the community. I could supply an example to show you that that is already becoming an actuality. Something we are doing right is giving a lengthy period for people to choose the candidate who is right for them. The problem in that is that this is all a popularity gig. The elections have no real use besides putting a fur on sale and trying to make some extra coin. A suggestion from a friend of mine to make this system work would be to hide the number of votes each candidate has. Simple, but effective. That is the way a real election is held, is it not? People vote and then a day or two later, we found out who won. It could work and likely will work. The current state of the shop is to many appalling. It is fine if you're a child and will pretty much buy anything your parents allow you to, or if you just buy it all out for the sake of it, but the quality of items in the shop over the past year or so has been pretty miserable. I'm quite sure there was a time when all of the furs were supposed to be solely natural. That went out the window pretty fast. I understand that money needs to be made, yet there is a different between going out to make money and going out to satisfy your customers and I have not yet been satisfied. The most recent fur is a prime example of the quality we do not desire. I mean the concept is solid, don't get me wrong, but it just didn't turn out. It probably wouldn't ever turn out with an idea such as that. There are some other minor issues and aesthetics that need to be dealt with. Some of these have been raised before, but I feel it might refresh a few memories if I were to run over them again. There is an issue of inactive mods or mods who are online and not particularly efficient. I realise that moderator applications are open and hopefully new entry level mods will aid in coping with all of the problems that we manage to have. The chat in map editor is not the same as the chat in rooms. This is of course an example of laziness and not even bothering to ensure that the current theme is displayed throughout the entire game. Also, said theme is not customisable as many had suggested before and to put it simply, that is taking the piss. It is a simple addition to improve the aesthetic feel of the game. Lastly, the community platform has been experienced problems recently and of course that is inevitable. It would be nice, however, to have some updates on why these things happen. |

another thing to add, survivor has sucked since it became an official minigame in 2012 or 13, i believe. people have complained about it for years and atelier 801 has done nothing but only add shit to the main game without caring about the minigame. for example, you're free to spam cannon hotkeys, use instagib totems, shaman skills that only benefit the shaman, abuse meep and etc. another thing is the shaman customization section in the shop, where you can use bubble cannon customization to hinder aim visibility. so with all of that, the shaman is horribly overpowered than it was before, and people abusing those things contstantly makes the survivor not fun at ALL. and then, the last mouse standing does not get awarded bonus points or anything similar, which was one of the purposes of old survivor. lastly, vampire and co op survivor should be in entirely different rooms. vampire survivor kind of breaks the flow when it randomaly plays, and co op survivor can be really fucking difficult at times. |

Shamans transforming in cats, bubbles appearing everywhere and an inventory full of troll-items: I say back to the basics. Not that that will ever happen ofcourse. |

Let's face it, Transformice do have pretty bad updates/ events/ items/ features or whatever you call it, but despite all that, there are a lot of remarkable functions and additions on the game as well. So, first of all, we should know about the existence of these game features and be grateful for it and you didn't mention that. As for the "unsatisfying" options, let's check them again. Elections: It is true that elections are a bit unfair to players who aren't well known by the community, however, in my point of view, a president must be someone that is "popular", in other words, presidents should at least have a small reputation in their community, this is how real life works as well. Sarkazm a dit : This is a good suggestion! You had a good point here. We shouldn't be allowed to see the number of votes, just like the elections IRL. Shop: Furs aren't made to satisfy everyone, other players might like it, others won't, it's simple! If you don't like a fur, don't buy it. Sarkazm a dit : True, but staff apparently decided to change that without removing the natural touch of the furs. Most furs are natural, adding a new genre of furs might satisfy new players, but it doesn't necessarily have to satisfy you. Other: Sarkazm a dit : Moderators are very well selected and pass a formation period that can even go up to 2 years, so calling them "not particularly efficient" is an insult to them and their hard work that you don't get to see. Do you realise how much moderators get spammed and how many reports they have to handle? Just because a moderator didn't respond to your call or didn't ban the hacker in your room doesn't mean they're not doing their job. They just can't be everywhere at the same time. So you report, and they do their job, and don't even need to inform you when it's done. Sarkazm a dit : The chat on the map editor is probably the least of my concerns, do you chat with yourself on the map editor? No. Are you aware of the coding that is necessary to change the chat on the map editor? No. So tell me, is it really more important to change the chat theme on the map editor than to take care of bugs and fix whatever should be fixed? This is not a priority. Sarkazm a dit : I personnally love the new theme, and one more time, it won't satisfy everyone. You just have to accept it. Sarkazm a dit : What would it change if you knew why the community platform experiences problems? They just get to do their best to fix it and move on! Problems happen in any game, and I bet you if you check any other multiplayer online platform browser game you'll notice that they don't inform their players about the reason why their community platform is having issues because it's obviously unnecessary. What I'm trying to say is that the theme on the map editor doesn't make a difference. You're complaining about the staff work and considering that the inchanged theme on the map editor is because of the laziness of the team. Instead of doing that, maybe you should've suggested changing the theme in there as well because maybe they didn't notice it? Besides, calling them lazy is irrespectful. Furthermore, moderators may be online on alt accounts taking care of different reports and calls to avoid being spammed by players whispering them non-stop, so you obviously cannot tell if they're online or not, which is why you should use the report button. I hope that's clear enough. EDIT: it's just a conversation ! |

I've played this game for 5 years and you're telling me to use the report button because mods might be on alts. I like being taken for a fool, thank you. |

You played this game for 5 years and you didn't take that information into account? You should be aware that mods might be online but just not visible to players, and in the post that you edited, you mentionned that mods aren't online half of the time, which is not true. |

I just implied the absurdity of not taking that into account. I don't know why you're seeing right through my words. EN2 mods are rarely online and when they are, they mostly do little. Considering the size of EN2 in comparison to other servers it is easily maintainable by two moderators at once. Even when two moderators are online, however, nothing gets done. |

Sarkazm a dit : Uh no. The consumers are usually idiots. There's a whole website dedicated to showing that. |

How can you guess that they do little? It makes non-sense to me honestly, moderators are hired to moderate and are aware of how serious their job is, they're not likely to ignore players calling for help or don't answer their questions on purpose. In addition to that, you cannot guess how many moderators it takes to manage the EN2 server either.. |

This is getting ridiculous, I believe I tried my best to convince you that moderators are doing their job just fine but you're stick to your opinion and I respect that, good luck on your thread though ! |
