The reason why online games fail is lack of players, the reason for lack of players is lack of updates, the reason for lack of updates is price, the reason for lack of money invested into the game is the lack of players. Thus becoming an endless cycle. TFM is focused on a lot more because more players are on that than other Atelier games imo which is why you see updates because players spend frazies on it. If more players were on, oh say, Nekodancer and spent frazies on it then that game would be Ateliers' focus. As I mentioned before, it all depends on that Online Gaming Cycle everything else has to play second fiddle and become less of a priority.

So as for the Question "Is Atelier801 really improving their games?" The answer is... On going... A broad question with multiple responses contradicting the other. So the choice is up to the developers and their players should a game improve. ;)
