Your Forum Tips 'n Tricks?

For me, using the forum's coding is a bit difficult. Everything gets jumbled, and confusing.
Do you have problems coding on the forums?
For me, it's always my profile.

If you are good at coding, do you have any specific ways you do it?
Do you do it in a pdf then paste it?

i like to do it on a801 so i can preview it every time i add something

some people find it easier to do it on a801 (coughs on hammy) but i prefer doing it on like, a microsoft word document or some shit and then paste it (or google docs because if you crash or do something equally horrendous then its auto-saved for you to return to)

well, there's one thing i can say, if you have one typo in the tags, it won't work.

How to make tabs

If you're going to get a Youtube video, the format will look like this:
[video]http://www.youtube.com/embed/[/video ] (without any spaces)

After where it says "embed", type the URL ending of a video. For example, take this url:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
Select the end text.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ

And then, past it into the format for a YT video.
[video]http://www.youtube.com/embed/dQw4w9WgXcQ[/video ]

And viola. Many people tend to mess this one up, and it took me some time to discover this as well.

How to place a name within a Spoiler's tab

When creating tabs, you'll get this:
[#][/# ]
[#][/# ]

Here's what you do:
[#tab 1 name]*You must insert text here in order for the tabs to show up.[/#tab 1 name ]
[#tab 2 name]*Same as here. If you have a tab with no text in it, the tab will not display.[/#tab 2 name ]

You can add as many tabs as you desire. The text in pink is where the information will go that will display when you click the tab. And of course, remove the space at the end bracket. I added the space so it would show as normal text for an example.

(Remove the space and you get a nice line.)

Well, if you want to put pictures, do

also, since ive had a few people ask me this, here's how you make a short spoiler:
it's all in the work of the table.
click the table, and between the cel tags, add the spoiler. like so..

and you can add any content you want in the spoiler, of course c:
