Hello!

Today I want to suggest a possible addition to the forum that would greatly help myself, as a map-maker, who desperately needs a new platform that would allow myself and other map creators to access their own maps and even be able to scroll through public perms, which is not much different than what Micetigri and Cheeseformice used to do. Below, I am going to go through different edits that greatly represents what I want to see with a feature like this and how this would be a giant step forward to making the map community seemingly more acknowledged and even help bring the gap between regular players and map creators closer together.

The image (left) represents a general area where I personally believe the new Maps Platform should be located, along with the general layout + how much better it would look if it were to be another section on the main menu. By allowing the Map Platform to have it's own section similar to the other Atelier801 sections, it'll allow the new section to have some exposure where normally maps wouldn't since they usually get hidden in the map editor section. The platform doesn't need to be at the top but perhaps somewhere on top or directly below the Transformice section would suffice.

In the example edit on the right, you can see that the platform itself wouldn't be to much different than from what we've seen before with map hosting sites in the past, except now this one would be merely official and hopefully more reliable with Transformice's servers. Having a Map Platform here on the forum would make sense now more than ever with the introduction of Micepix, which would be a very good alternative way to host the images required of having a map platform such as this.

Just some extra edits that didn't really fit anywhere else on the thread but aren't any less important with the rest of the suggestion. The first image on the left is a menu that you can access once you click on a map picture on the first platform page, giving the user access to map information and even further information to the creator of the map. The image on the right represents an easy way to access your own maps without having to do much work.
