Mods are just doing their jobs, don't accept screenshots and there are many reports in just 5 minutes, mods are busy people too. Sometimes they mute people for dumb reasons, my friend got muted for not one hour but more for complimenting a mod long time ago "you have a nice ass".
Mods don't listen unless it's a serious issue like say the Br server invades one room saying racial slurs, that is a big problem.

do you really think that mods can handle more than 20+ reports per 5m

I had a situation with a moderator last year where I had gripped an anti-cheat wall (anti leve) which is a known bug on standalones such as Baffler, and iMouse.

They wouldn’t accept any for of proof, and had used the reason: “You were the only person out of 30 mice to grip the wall, therefore you were definitely cheating.”
This is funny, since most people of e2 server use the official standalone/website/steam version to play Transformice, where it is impossible (?) to grip. I could have been one of the only few that had been using a different standalone and even if not, it’s still a really low chance that you get grip on them.

However, I spoke with a few moderators through the discord server and had showed what I could to prove that I wasn’t cheating. Next thing you know, under 24 hours I am unbanned.

In my opinion, moderators really aren’t that bad but could do with a little more effort and knowledge.

I've been using Baffler's standalone since it was released and I've never ever experienced this anti-leve bug (as you call it) in almost 5 years.

Don't hurt the moderators! They have to sanction a lot of reports in a short time, and more than half of the reports they receive are incorrect. (Many people only report a player because they annoyed what they did.)

But it’s important to note that moderators are also people. So they can make mistakes. If you do not agree with the sanction, you can appeal here:
https://atelier801.com/topic?f=6&t=891383
And yes, the sanction may be too severe.

This is quite funny, because last year I was banned for "agil" back when I played on a linux laptop, where I dont think any of the tfm hacks are supported? While some mods were helpful, especially shoutout to Sav, many simply would not even listen to my story(looking at you jordy), even though the mod that banned me literally had no evidence, just her word against mine. Eventually I got the response that it seemed the en mods did understand I didnt hack, but because I was banned by Lezzly, a ES mod, they couldn't do anything. Why are mods from other communities allowed to ban on EN2 server, when the EN mods apparently cant get my ban appealed by them.

While I agree mods are human as well, and they dont have the time to handle every case, the fact that they are human also means they are liable to make mistakes just like any of us. I have plently of mutes, which i have not appealed, however I was muted at the beginning of this month for something I did not say this time. While I used the contact forum that every mod pushes you to, I literally had to beg Batt_mellany to respond to me. I dont know if Batt was given misleading information in the report, or if they may have just been careless this one time (which I hope it is one of these cases and not targetting me because of candycain) but they have clearly ignored me in my Forum DM's and not even giving me the chance to "appeal". Once again I'll say admins give these moderators way too much trust just because they are volunteers, not realizing that even volunteers aren't always perfect.

While I can agree some arguments in the past recent thread about mod problems, along with this one, are quite unfounded, there have been now 2 fairly active threads with player complaints about mods. You can continue to place all the blame on the players, but its clear there is some sort of issue.

P.S. since I know all you mods are watching this like hawks please let matza know I am very much still waiting for his dm.

awks i didnt realize this is an old thread because i never use forum but it seems like only way to voice complaints since private dms just get ignored.

This was back when E2/EN was a thing i take it? EN2 was the international servers i believe, meaning any mod can moderate, since Lezzly (ES) mod banned you, i think it counts for an ES server ban, meaning EN mods can't unban, but to be clear, i don't really know, it's just a guess, do NOT take my word for it, but i think there's MANY reasons they weren't able to unban you!!

I really think this is immature and really unnecessary but you do you, Sav was an excellent mod of course, but so was jordy, and i believe it wasn't required you call mods out like this

Patience is a virtue, just wait, she said in the last topic you posted in,which got locked, she was going to be busy, therefore, unable to PM people, so just wait also she's a female, but that's not important

But in all, like i've said in my previous topic; Topic 929352

"Now i see a lot of players arguing about of staff members banning, muting, warning, and pfp banning them without a proper reason, however this is quite a complicated subject, nearly ALL the staff are blamed for this, however this is just plain rude and unfair, as not ALL staff abuse their power, hell, nearly NONE of the staff abuse their power, yes of course there will ALWAYS be a few moderators, or a few sentinels, or even a few MAPCREW abusing power, and yes even one Ex-Administrator, but this doesn't mean ALL the staff deserve hate, or all the complaints, it's reality, there's always some people making mistakes, and yes, i think meli needs to pay more attention, and do more investigations on reports regarding power-abuse, however this is up to meli, other than that, there's really nothing we as players can do, and yes, before you bring up Super-Moderators, i have considered this for quite a long time before posting this topic, however there was JUST as much power abuse going on there, and if Meli were to bring them back, she would need to SERIOUSLY limit their power"
