Translators Team

The purpose of the Translators Team is to translate various topics, fan-sites, content related to Atelier801 games into different languages.
We are not part of the staff, we are a group of volunteers who want to help others by providing translations for their content.
All translations are 100% free and the requester has the right to post the translation by himself with a small logo at the end.
The team has been created the 27th of September 2017 by Hmiida with the permission of the EN sentinels!
If you have any problems, questions or ideas don't hesitate to contact us through the forums.

Mice are able to sign-up for this team to help out!

The requirements to join the team are as follows:

You should be thirteen, or older.*
You have to be mature.
You should be able to speak English, as well as the language(s) you are translating to/from fluently.
You have free time to translate.
You are familiar with Atelier801 forums (Games, events, BBCode...).
You should be active on Discord on a daily basis.**

(* We can make exceptions for people who are under 13 by judging how interesting and good their application and translation are.)
(** You can always be absent for a period of time for a given reason.)

Q: I want my text to be translated to more than 3 languages. Is it possible?
A: We can only translate to max. 3 languages/month for each player. If it's a fan-site, send us a PM here

Q: Why max. 3?
A: A: Currently, the team is still fresh and we don't want to overwork our members.

Q: Can you translate people's comments for me?
A: No, we can't.

Q: I edited my thread and the new part that I added should be translated. Can you translate it?
A: Of course, we can! Don't hesitate to contact us.

Q: My request isn't accepted. Why?
A: If we've already sent you a rejection message, please feel free to respond to the discussion for more information as to why.

Q: Do I have to put the "Translators Team" logo?
A: No, it's optional.

Q: Why wasn't my off topic thread accepted?
A: We only translate content related to Atelier801 games.

Leave us a note if it's needed.

How are you going to verify if a paragraph of translated text has been translated correctly? Often I see people who are part of some translators team, who can't even write proper sentences in their native language.

Good question! At the beginning, we're willing to ask for help from the Helpers Team. Then, after having enough members from different countries, they'll be the ones who are going to determine the translation's quality.

If you're good at the language, you will be able to see if the person has used google translate, or not.

Well acording to the admins this game is for 13+ so taking 13 as an age requirement is smart, that’s probably why they have it.
