i'm not quite sure... i've dated a number of people but falling in love, now that's a whole another world on its own. there might be someone but i have no contact with them, haven't seen them in years, either. although we've never dated, i feel like my friendship or relationship with them was much more intense, intimate, compassionate, thrilling than the relationships with my exes. i wonder if our paths are ever going to diverge in the future. nothing would make me happier.

I don't think I genuinely fell in love

Love in high school usually never last. I thought this couple who has been dating since the break of dawn would still be together because it's one of those couples everyone knows is always together. Plus they looked very good together too. However, many years later I looked at the girl's profile (to see how they were doing) and saw her with a different guy. Needless to say, I was quite surprised.

As for me, I hardly fell for anybody. It was more like lust for the most part. I did have one or two people I couldn't get over for up to 2-3 years but they weren't for me. It's hard for me to get to know people, especially guys in that aspect. Instead, I found my current partner through my family's match making (second time). I'm not too picky as long as they are nice and treat me well. So far so good and I hope it stays that way. I don't like having to meet new people when it comes to partner - have to start from scratch and tell each other everything. Plus it's very demotivating when you did all that with someone else before. Like damn, I wasted time telling someone my life story for nothing.
