I'm not so sure about mice. But the currency should be stars or music notes because I'm guessing if you dance correctly you'll earn some. Food I think is less likely because you're dancing, and in DDR when you hit a correct arrow perfectly some notes or stars pop up. You're not going to dance for the game to throw food at you when you get it perfectly because unlike in the other games you're not hunting for the currency. It's a dancing game where you dance, not run around killing and looking for the currency.

eh i think it'll be fish. basing it on the concept that us (as humans) can eat cheese,hazlenuts and potatoes. would make sense if it was something food-related
or maybe i'll be completely wrong and it'll be cat food
