It technically is not googles fault for not knowing that Atelier 801 has music rooms in transformice and neko dancer that rely on its API .

I got an idea that could replace Youtube
If we use Newgrounds music just like Robtop did for his game, i am sure that both autogen and track editor (if it ever comes) would work with it.

There is almost 400,000 songs (so many! it could help get more people. i said COULD, will not neccesarrily but maybe it will)
we could use the songs URLs (number at the end of link) just like Robtop did then make the game read the song and then autogen the notes (or in the case of a possible track editor, we place the notes where there are specific sounds we want to play)

And this music is not copyrighted :P

In the end Flash/AS3 is just getting too old and clunky.. I think it's understandable to drop api support in that sense. It's a shame though.

As for whether Nekodancer is shutting down or not, Meli wasn't too optimistic.

We all love transformice, but we'll be losing part of our game, Transformice, and awesome game Nekodancer. It may be pretty hard, but most people on transformice also play Nekodancer
Maybe you can have the music downloaded on the servers

i used to play nekodancer all the time like holy shit

i remember it like it was yesterday

and i had too much memories and for the game that made me meet alot of my friends to shut down is really sad

as i play nekodancer for like the next 2 months
