The title largely explains my suggestion; there should be more options in transformice. This isn't a new idea at all. Something similar to my idea is suggested here: Topic-125796

The first time I attempted to suggest this dates back to January 9th of 2011. I tried again on 12 july (also 2011) and again at 28 december (also 2011). All got moderate support, none ever got anywhere near implementation. I don't think this one will do much better for the devs, but I like toying around in photoshop. Fun story right? :-)

Either way, this suggestion goes together with my other suggestion regarding the game's interface. You can read about that here - Topic-149526

Menu > Preferences would take you to a main window as seen below. In there you can set a default room (see also Topic-16086 ) or review your privacy options, security settings and/or other preferences.



The image provided for the privacy options should be pretty clear. By clicking the dots you can define which usergroups can send you messages or see in which room you're currently playing. You would also get control over which people can access your stats (currently cfm would be an easy workaround, though). Setting your room info on "public" would mean that your current room is listed on your profile.

By clicking the flags you can allow or disallow players from certain communities to send you whispers. People wanting something like this can be found in these threads: Topic-32584 and Topic-107697



The security settings are pretty much like what they are now, but here are two images anyway. I did add a button for changing your email (see Topic-125438 ).




"Other preferences" is a collection of small things people tend to want to disable. Sometimes this has to do with sounds interfering with whatever it is they're doing, other options are meant to reduce some lag for people with slower computers. Having these as default options saves startup lag and the hassle of hitting various commands upon login.



That'd be about all. I threw out a whole bunch of unneeded options that I included in my previous attempt. I love comments that go beyond support/no support!
