I don't think I've seen this around. On a site called IMO.IM, which is like a discussion forum meets Facebook, the topic creator has the right to ban users from their "broadcasts" (topics) if they don't like how they're acting. Of course on this forum, it could be abused, but I think it'd be a good idea. Just be sure to police it carefully, and allow sentinels to have a log of who has been banned from what topic. PROS: - Allows users who are provoked by others to remove them so they don't have to deal with the abuse - Makes blacklists for tribe threads a thing of the past and easier to manage. CONS: - Abuse could run amuck, which is why sentinels would have to work a little harder. |

Sorry but I don't agree with this, there is nothing wrong in replying in a topic :/, users are free to post in any topic if they aren't breaking any rules. |

Maxxzinnn a dit : Why Barry had to stop deleting all of Fxies comments from Mapcrew threads because he "blacklisted her from all mapcrew threads" so I agree with you If people comment with rude comments they will be muted /no support |

There are cases where users don't break rules but are just incredibly annoying for the sake of it (or they're just completely oblivious to their own idiocy), so I find a scenario like that to be totally plausible. I'd much have it so only Sentinels can ban someone from a topic though to prevent abuse. |

Maxxzinnn a dit : Art threads: Person posting multiple times wanting art but is denied. Tribes: Person who is blacklisted continues to post. Plus, as Mausi said. |

Then you have the case where people post in Bugs not knowing anything that they're talking about. |

It's a good idea, but usually some people just troll for fun, then that could cause them to get banned. And as the game says, trolling is a part of the game. But this is a forum, so /Support |

No it doesn't? It's a justification of why it's necessary. Okay, let's look at it this way. - You have a tribe topic - Someone asks if they can join - You have them apply - They are denied - They continue to ask to join - You tell them they are denied - They CONTINUE to ask. Sure you can place them on a blacklist, but it's not a proper barrier. They can still post at any time in it. |
