The Transformice Awards are an annual contest to select the best players, mappers and moderators of Transformice. The contest is done by users with the authorization of the administration.

The users responsible for the contest are:

The contest will be held in the BR community, but there will be voting in all communities. We are currently holding the contest in only two communities, EN and BR, but at the end of the week we will be opening it in FR, ES, RU, RO and TR.

Awards -
The awards will be chosen by Galaktine (BR community manager), but currently we are not sure if she will given us cheese or not. She allowed us to create the contest, but asked for a brief explanation of the contest so she could give cheese to the winners. We will edit this when he hear whether Galaktine will give cheese or not.

First place - 150 cheese
Second place - 100 cheese
Third place - 50 cheese

The cheese will be granted January 2014, but no exact date at this time.

How it works -
Nominations will start November 3, and end on December 3 to select participants. You can select up to three people per category (but you will not be allowed to pick the same person three times).

After nominations, polls will be created to choose the winners, which will take place from December 4 to December 30. The winners will be announced December 31 in a party in room /room *transformice awards 2013. Remember, it is allowed to vote for users in other communities

Voting -
Different from other years, voting will be done via a site, to prevent fraud. There will be a user registration system (using your Transformice username), which blocks you when you attempt to create more than one account a day. If you are a moderator, map crew or administration and want to sign up, you will have to speak with an admin of the site to have your account unblocked (to avoid stealing names of staff).

Because of the account system, you will be prohibited from voting for yourself. The voting will take place on http://tfmawards.com.br. Remember that you can only create one account a day!

Categories -

Currenty, the categories are being voted on Skype by the team organizing the contest. If you want to suggest a category, post in the topic. We will have 13 - 20 categories in total.

Have you considered using a module script for voting, so there's no authentication hassle? It would be well possible with the latest features.

I'm unsure if Cnpj thought about it, but I know I sure didn't. Ninguem already has the site up though, so I don't know if it's too late or what. I'll let him know.
