Different Ranking System in Tribes |

Have you ever felt that the ranking system in tribes on Transformice seems to be a bit too odd? Well, I did, that's why I came up to this idea. On Transformice, everyone gets to be on top of someone else and it seems like the list of priorities is pretty long. Picture of current ranking system Some people might feel that it's too frustrating to go through this list, especially to manage the ranks. So, I decided to redesign it to resemble the pyramid graphs that show how feudalism or the caste system in India worked. Feudalism
Not pictured: Option to add more sections to the pyramids or reduce them. > Usage You're allowed to make a new rank, which will end up in the lowest section. Using the up and down arrows, you can alternate in which section they should be. Clicking on each rank name would give you the list on the right that allows changing the permissions of the chosen rank. > Functions Implementing this would make organizing much easier. I also believe it's aesthetically pleasing and might push people into giving more attention to their tribes. Not to mention, it puts two or more different ranks in the same section as well, thus not making one have power over the other to kick him out of the tribe or to change their rank name, but those of the same section are still allowed to use their powers on the ones below them. Plus, if you're a fan of having different rank names for people with same permissions, this should be pretty neat. :) So, what do you think? Support, half-support or no support at all? Please let me now, and if you've got any feedback, I would appreciate it very much. Dernière modification le 1506206040000 |

/half support I have no problem with the current one but if you're able to switch how you see it I suppose it wouldn't do any harm to either side. This also might get complicated for the tribes with all the custom ranks...? |

/halfsupport i think this would fair better with the additions ('same level' ranks), but if you could switch between the two designs (imagine having a tribe with custom ranks, the pyramid design would get very confusing and overwhelming to the eye) |

I don't understand, you could make your ranks have the same exact abilities, which is equal to your pyramid idea. I would rather have a few rank choices to choose from instead of only having this one if you want to start introducing more ways to rank your tribe. |

Having ranks that are equal to one another would be pretty neat, for the sole purpose of people not having a need to argue over who is in charge anymore. Right now, there will always be one rank that has more power than the others, simply because of their number in the rank list. |

Thank you guys so much for your support. <3 Grimmaro a dit : Yep, I did notice that. I'd say that's one con to the suggestion. However, since you'd be allowed to add more of the so-called "sections", it should be able to resemble the current ranking system. However, this wasn't really the point of the pyramid system. The whole point was to defeat confusion involving two ranks of the same permission. Here's an example of what I meant: Two ranks do have same permission, but with Transformice's current ranking system, one of them should be on top of the other, thus meaning the top one can kick or change rank of the bottom one even if they both had the same permission but different names. Either way, thank you so much for your feedback. :) |

One thing - how would you click on pyramid parts with multiple ranks? It will show some borders of the rank? |
