That's really odd,I mean when there is a round type of contest ,the categories change with rounds. So that way it goes :
1st round -three categories to choose from
2nd round - two categories to choose from
3d round/final round - only one category

The whole part with the different categories is to make the contest harder and harder ,in the end having no choice at all. Its also good to have a certain amount of points to have in order to pass to the next round .
I'm not trying to 'teach you how to make a contest',I myself never hosted one,but indeed joined many.
I'm sorry if I sound rude.

Sorry if what I'm about to say sounds rude at all.

I agree with Luckyisdesi. Usually contest's categories change each round, making it harder.

Also, you should not just allow everyone to stay in, it's easier to make sure some people wont make it to the next round so that the contest wont last for ages, and so that it makes the contest more scary (by which I mean people wondering if they'll go through or not). Try to decide on an amount of points someone should have to get through to the next round.

Again, I am sorry if this seems a bit manipulative.

None of your comments sound rude but contestants will be eliminated. The 10 lowest averages at the end of this round will be the people who are eliminated. Then, in the last round the the top three averages will win.

I know other contests had multiple categories per round, so maybe that's the confusion here?

If I'm right...
Moshi made three categories, not for round one, but for each round.
And round one was just the best friend, round two is survivor, and three is a birthday party, I guess.

So the category is survivor now, I think.

(Correct me if I'm wrong, Moshi)

It's alright. Honestly I like the way you did it (one category per round) because when there are multiple categories, pretty much every entry has 2-3 different topics slapped into one another and it honestly just makes the whole thing random. I think that having one main focus makes a lot better final products.
