I intentionally put such maps in the application for review because I know they can be improved, and what I wanted to emerge was how willing the applicants were to help out on maps.

I meant to say application reviews. Because applications reviews aren't real reviews. You aren't helping the mapmakers in the application improve. This is very true. It's not the same as helping someone who actually came and asked in the thread.

The cheese arrow, I think you should add another cheese there and keep the current 2.
The white arrows I want you to add 45 degree ice ramps, preferably with only one side sticking out.

With these changes made the mice can not only solo the map, but the shaman will have something to build for and can help the newer mice a bit easier. Adding a bit more gameplay, and with the low gravity the ice-ramps will mostly replace walljumping. And if you haven't already done so, make sure that the moving ground isn't collidable with grounds, and only mice.

I'm sorry, but Maxxzinnn labeled this map as 'room shaman'. And as the dude in charge of room shaman, I don't agree with this review at all. It's not your fault (or anybody else's, really). You just reviewed it as an aspiring P4 map, perhaps not knowing that room shaman is the complete opposite of P4.
For point 1, I think you missed that the black grounds only collide with mice whereas the white grounds collide with both mice and grounds; just making everything grass would be pretty confusing. And if you'd change the black grounds to standard grass, it'd lower the difficulty and change gameplay significantly too.
The cloud ground makes the map a lot more difficult, but I agree it shouldn't be there; it'll only encourage the shaman to build some long wobbly bridge supported by one v anchor. Remember there's nothing wrong with a simple, 'easy' map (except that we've got a lot of those already and it's hard to separate yourself from the others - hint: aesthetics or art).
Cheese placement will change the flow of the map, but not for better or for worse; it'll merely shift the attention to the top half of the screen with both cheese and hole being there. Hole placement is just aesthetics, it doesn't change gameplay at all so I'm not too worried about it. I guess it'd look slightly better tucked away in the corner.
Backgrounds, while being pretty and all that, only serve to confuse and distract the shaman from actually building stuff. Especially so at more difficult maps (like this one is trying hard to be). You can use them, but they're not commonly found or really needed in the shaman rooms.
And as for the roof, I see two big possibilities for this map. You could keep the black grounds as collision with mice only, in which case a roof would just ruin what you were trying to do in the first place, which is not blocking the shaman's build. Or, the second way, you can switch the black grounds to standard(!) grass, and then a roof would be marginally useful. In either case, it's not really needed because there's really nothing to do up there anyway. I guess it could obstruct some random troll from hanging out on the top right side.

Sorry for the long rant!

PS: I use 'generic', 'boring' and 'ugly' quite liberally when reviewing maps. (/ω・\#)

I see that you have edited the map prior.. so the lava would be ok.

So.. Aesthetics.

Orange Arrow: Move the ice to the left and thicken it.
Red Arrow: This too.. you can see the choc coming out.

Sorry I didn't arrow out all the stuff.. You see the turnaround choc at the bottom.. either make it one whole chocalate or make them the same length.

The water.. under the stone.. move it down.

The three water grounds up there. Align them with the ice/ground. Also, place 9999 res lava on the top sides so that mice can't luck it.

The little 10px choc, elongate and align (to 20px * 20px perhaps).

K gameplay.
First tramp part is pretty ok (but might be too easy). Be dynamic and add water grounds to it.. bring up the challenge.

The three water grounds there can be a little repetitive. I suggest changing the highest or second highest water to something else like turnarounds or tramp bounces (be creative.. im telling you to change the CONCEPT of this part).

Green Arrow: Move the thing higher.. so that mice won't just simply need to touch it once to get to the desired destinations.

The tramp at the center can be removed. The choc next to the cheese can be removed too for a bit of challenge.

After getting the cheese, the bottom right part might be a little brief. Maybe add stuff there (another concept change which i cannot help you on).

So anyway. Pro map pii *-*

Black arrow: I know it's possible to v swing with b plank and catch the mice but is it okay if the tip parts of this wood is changed with your black ground (cause some mice may screw up)? But it's fine like this too.

Red arrow: Elongate the gigantic ass wood so that we can't see this

Green arrow: What i can see is that this is not very hardmode friendly (the only way i got to build with HM is to place a plank on the right of the sham or blooning the sham). So consider this removed? I'll need some friction :o

No arrow: The black ground on the left of Soul, can you make this wood and move it so that there is a gap of 10px for a plank? (Make it hm friendly). I know this will kill some solus but it's just a suggestion. It's ok as it is and i like it pretty much.

Also, move the entire map a little to the left since there isn't much stuff happening there.. and there would be more space for the sham.

Fun swinging/sliding solutions (3 swings! what can be better!)

Gogo i vote yes ok.

Right.
Black arrow: Make it a wood. Mice can balance on it. Make it around 40 * 40 pixels. (Yes a square).

Yellow arrow: Remove this. Easy maps are okay. This just makes shamans do a gigantic v swing which would normally fail cuz it's no b. (This is like Jamii's 8 and Gundo's 8)

Red arrow: Delete that funny slanted ground. Elongate the other black ground like i drew. Actually, you can make this a wood/grass/stone ground too that'll make a pretty good low diff map.

Summary: Um lacks creativity and gameplay.. the black grounds don't do much. And it's not very original either.
