Off-topic but how does the Vote Crew work exactly? Does their opinion matter more than public vote on maps? Do they ever open applications?

Votecrew are more or less mapcrew assistants and aren’t considered staff, however can contribute a lot to the map rotation by voting and other behind the scenes work. Votecrew applications are actually just mapcrew applications and you will automatically be placed as votecrew if you are accepted through the mapcrew application as an underaged individual.

How long does it take to decide if the application is good or not?

You have to wait at most one month to receive an answer about your application. (I'm not sure 100%, but when I asked Eyeground he said that : "At most one month".)

This is correct - we aim to get back to successful applicants within a month of them sending their application to join.
Example: If you apply on 4th February, the team will process your application & if you are selected, you will receive a message offering you a place on the team around 4th March.
