Totally see your point Mquk, :C i recently applyed to mapcrew and i thought the same, that's why i'm just decided to give up and be retired to this game.
Only one person can't do anything to change the situation on bootcamp mapcrew, peoples are annoyed about it and there's a lot of reason to not enjoy (exclusively bootcamp team).

Who are Admin / Boss of this game? i want to send him a message in Private.. I think we (bootcamp players), need a change in management of bootcamp maps.. (spliting in 2 category of rooms, ULTRA HARD MAPS, and acceptable maps), and more maps, because we play same maps to much in rotation. Motivate players to make new maps, and accept it.

The difficulty in the last maps are really acceptable, the only thing that is getting the peoples annoyed are the decisions of some maps that mapcrew keep in rotation, for example, recently they depermed a generic 2011 instead of a good map (theres a lot of them there).
And it's so hard to understand what they expect about your map, there's a review but they don't send on the thread if your map got some potencial or something like that, it takes really 1 or 2 minutes to create a simple text to peoples understand what needs to be made to correct the map,
they also looks too busy to answer properly players...

We actually have made a suggestion in 2017 to the admins to introduce a new bootcamp category specifically for the older and easier maps, which would allow us to put newer and harder maps in p3 and p13. However, at the time Pika told us he wasn't able to implement this because there was a big change coming to the way maps are categorized. This was in 2017, and it's now 2019, but we haven't heard anything from this anymore and I think we don't have to expect this to happen any time soon, if at all. So we have to deal with the categories that we have right now.

Back in 2017 we introduced a Bootcamp Pleasure Pack which consisted of mostly easier-than-average and maps that have never been in rotation before. In 2018 we restored the balance by removing a big chunk of really old, and generally easy maps. All of this in an attempt to make the rotation more diverse and refreshing. So as you can see, we continuously try to improve the rotation in order to please as many players as possible, with the tools that are available to us.

could some mapcrew explain to me what is good with this map? @261270
p5 rules say things like:
There must be some gameplay to the map. Unless the art is of the highest quality, simply wjing/building over the art will not be acceptable.
Art must be well aligned/should look great.
and this map doesnt accomplish the requirements, so why? why keeps in rotation? just cuz its old? idk if is only me, but has no sense
Also, maps like this: @7519369, have the requirements, but the mapcrews prefer to leave p5 really bad and old maps, and p1 good and new maps.

@261270 was a filler map added to the P5 rotation about two years ago when the administrators asked us to add over 1000 maps in every single category in order to make the rotation more diverse. Because we did not have that amount of suitable maps around, we had to lower our standards when checking tons and tons of old map reviews and other map lists. That's why some maps might not meet your expectations. If you see maps like this, don't hesitate to report them to us. (Use this thread.)

The reason why @7519369 is not p5 is because it has a commonly seen issue that negatively impacts the gameplay. When mapmakers make maps that consist of viprin art exclusively, it can be very difficult for mice to navigate through the map. In this particular case, it is difficult to distinguish between grounds that have collision, and grounds that do not have collision, because the collision is inconsistent. For example, the bottom floor, the bookcase, the detailed wall in the background all have the same colour, but they do not share the same collision properties. Mice need to be able to see which grounds they can stand or climb on, and which grounds they can't. If this is not clear, there is a good chance that your map gets rejected.
