You can load the map by putting the @code into the text area in the Save/Load/Test area of the Map Editor and pressing the "Load" button. Once it's loaded, you can press "Copy to clipboard" and then you'll be able to paste it into a text area, like Notepad.

If you haven't already seen it, there's a guide at the bottom of that page that tells you how it works.

If you just see a black box in the editor, try going to validate the map and it'll display.

Lava grounds don't crash anymore, so if I put two lava grounds close to each other, I don't need to surround it with cloud grounds right?

Also about how many planks qualify a shaman map that is "hard enough"

I think you might be talking about something tig did with the lava to where things could only go a certain speed but then unimplimented it due to it causing problems with maps.

As far as I'm aware lava grounds don't crash any more, but it doesn't hurt to disable collision between it and objects, or surround it with clouds, as it can still cause lag.

In my opinion, shaman maps shouldn't be measured in planks, there are several maps that most people spend a while building on whereas there are one/two plank solutions if you do it just right, so it's not really a fair comparison.

Try using a lot of invisible grounds and collision.

A better code for vertical boosters is:

a dit :
<JP MV="Infinity,C" M1="A" AXIS="0,1" /><JP M1="B" M2="A" AXIS="1,1" />

And for horizontal ones,
a dit :
<JP MV="Infinity,C" M1="A" AXIS="1,0" /><JP M1="B" M2="A" AXIS="1,1" />

Where A is your booster ground, B is any infinite mass or non dynamic ground and C is the power of it.

<C><P DS="m;x1,y1,x2,y2" /><Z><S /><D /><O /></Z></C>

x1 and y1 being the coördinates of mouse 1, x2 and y2 being the coördinates of mouse 2, etc.
