Did they change the number of shaman points 1st-3rd was worth? 1st is now 14 points, 2nd is 12 points, and 3rd onwards is 10 points.

1st gets +16
2nd gets +14
3rd gets +12
4th+ gets +10
Dead: +1

I just got 3rd and 1st in a room, so I'm pretty sure. Turn on "Display particles effects" in settings and you'll see how many points you get.

If I'm the last person thats still active in a tribe and I don't have any recruitment or rank changing powers is there any way to have myself set to a rank that can?

Other than an admin giving you those powers manually, which I doubt will happen even in extreme circumstances, no.

There is no way unless an admin does, which is highly unlikely. You would have to make a new tribe or join a new tribe.

actually I'm pretty sure in a past update it was announced if the spiritual cheif quits the rank goes to the next best person, if you're the last person you'd get it

It works fine. You just need to clear cache.

Some videos won't work on standalone but if I log in with an alt account on browser (used Chrome) then the video plays but I just get blank screen using standalone (only seems to happen with certain videos). Is there a way to fix this?

Edit: Nevermind, just found out that any video with copyrighted music will only play on the browser version and not the standalone. :(

Yes. It tells you. It pops up. So you can validate it.

You can find out about new updates in the announcements sub-forum and small updates in the Small Announcements Thread
If nothing is announced in either of those threads, then it was a small hack patch or minor bug fix.
